Haha, true.  Anyway, I loved how this chapter served one purpose - to show Thorfinn that despite the fact he's lost everything, he still wants to live.  I'm a bit more interested in Snake.  For Thorfinn to compare him to Askeladd is quite the honor, no?  I wonder if he also is some kind of ex-viking or warrior.  Hopefully it'll lead into something good.

Looks like he really does want to live. He just needs to find a new purpose.

Damn. Thorfinn's monologue about there being no point in living completely gave me chills.

I really like how Snake attacked him just to tell him he wants to actually live.

Thank God! I really hope his emo "I have no reason to live" phase is over now.
