Liking this development, although I miss Thorkell (o-ho).

Story & Thorfinns character have a lot of potential now.

Yeah, at last he seems to be less stubborn and follows Canute in the way of changing. For his love, I hope Makoto will draw some kinda tundra or yandere, although both are stereotypical and none fits well into the atmosphere.

Although he is still very far from Vinland...

this new arc is certainly setting thorfinn up for some pretty crazy character development. he is clearly very shook by askeladd's death and i can't wait until we see how he became a slave and the story of how he's going to get out of this slump
