A lot of people said that prince changed way to fast, well maybe so.(What doesn't kill you make you stronger?)



Beside that i thought Askeladd wanted to liberate Celts and hated the Danes so i am not buying that he will serve the young prince now, he is cunning as always i think.



Thorfinn, Thorkell and Askeladd, feels like a band of Saiyans.

I dunno the prince has now grown a backbone and really lost care for the world but I still think Thorfinn is the best character... well I guess this new arch could become interesting.

I couldn't agree more that the prince's change was too rapid.



Really liking the direction this is headed.

Anyway, suspending disbelief, that's one tough crew with Askellad, Thorkell and Thorfinn, King Sweyn is in all sorts of trouble.

I love this manga, I really do, but it's jarring just how drastic Canute's character developed so fast. It's disappointing because his change in ideology does make some nice sense, but to do a complete character change like that definitely needed way more time. The development is still greatly appreciated, and I ain't one to nitpick realism when it comes to anime/manga, but that didn't sit well with me at all lol

ah finally, I felt that they dropped Vinland saga. This new story arc is going in a good directions. Can't wait for more chapters!!!!!!!!!
