This sudden transformation seems caricatural...

This and the physical feats (even more in the last chapters) put shame on the good side of the manga.

@Jfs_ Not "Boring"? Directing and story/personal drama are used to prevent that in this kind of case.I think it made sense , he had completely given up on something and that instigated his growth. The gentle side of him was always alluded to , this is was a combination of that and the casting away of his ideal.

3/5 Eh.., the fight would be boring if their physical feats is just like an average/normal human.

Uncle Thorkell, that's pretty cool and Canute suddenly acting like a king was wayyy too sudden, I understand the trauma of losing Ragnar but still, way too fast.the trauma of loosing that person made him disregard his well being and which creates a chance for him to act out how he truly feels.

The Prince's awakening was a bit too contrived in my opinion. A miracle indeed.

I suspected that Helga was no common woman, but that Thorkell himself would be her uncle was unexpected.

The prince is finally starting to look like a king.

Wasn't expecting those two to actually be related.

I was not expecting that. Not at all. I'd thought he'd snapped. Well, he did sorta snap, and turned his back on God, but it seems he's going to try and do good things.

I loved, just loved, loved, loved, that transition of logic. It was so natural. The artist used the Christian perspective and twisted it to create Chanute's new philosophy.

This manga is so human. It shows the ugliest side of humanity, and is now showing it's potential for good in the ugliest of situations. Awesome.
