Zealous Zodiac

Increasing might and unending endurance under the scorching sun, thickened skin harder than a diamond, and bodily fluids turning into lethal toxins; are a few examples of powers within a Zeal. A birthmark that forms a distinct symbol representing one of the twelve Gods known by the people as the Zodiac. Zeals are the ultimate gift, for aside from the superhuman ability, its bearer could wield magic based on the element of the God who bestowed them their mark.

Although Nusterra is an isolated continent, surrounded by raging and stormy seas filled with monstrous beasts, it is a vast land overflowing with natural riches and mana.
Nusterra has a long history of war and bloodshed. Twelve kingdoms emerged to power and for a long time, war with each other reached a deadlock. But, animosity turned to cooperation and an agreement of peace was made after an event that almost wiped out humanity. It happened more than a millennium ago, in the era known to man as the Age of Insanity. Chaos ruled over the land, making both beasts and man succumb to madness. Many thought it ended then, but its crumbs started to show itself and increased through time.
A thirteenth territory, the nation of Decatris, was formed at the center of Nusterra after the Age of Insanity, serving as the symbol of peace between the twelve kingdoms and its enforcer.

Now, with the growing cases of maddened beasts, Aeneas, a boy from the Proud Lion\'s kingdom of Pantera, aims to become a knight and a hero despite not bearing a Zeal from any of the twelve Zodiac Gods.
