Hiii~ Ruka here~~ This story is a slow burn with an age gap. I initially intended to read as I translate, but I overestimate my self-control ??. It really is slow burn, the first 10 or so chapters is a bit of a drag, then it gets more interesting. I love MC & ML dynamics so much!! My only complain is the scarce extras. Anyway, I hope you can enjoy the story as much as I do.
The actual translation is Cold on the outside but passionate on the inside, Daddy-type GONG X Reserved but straightforward, Dog-type SHOU, but I change it to a more euphemistic Reliable GONG X Loyal SHOU, because the literal translation could easily be misunderstood by English reader.
In Chinese buzzwords, Daddy-type means someone who take care of their partner like how a caring dad would (I’d say much like a caring husband would—their partner’s livelihood, health, feelings, everything), while Dog-type means someone who is loyal and straightforward (at first, I thought dog-type mean someone enthusiastic, but the imaginary I got from MC is more like a doberman—quiet, loyal, honest).
