Shi Yi is an omega suffering from glandular disease. He lacks pheromones, is cold and unemotional, and only cares about his career.

In the end, because he was drugged and forced into estrus, he had s*x with an unfamiliar alpha.

The one who marked him was none other than the rumored domineering, cold, and vicious top alpha, Lu Yunye.

Under the pressure of public opinion, the two were forced to marry. Immediately afterwards, Lu Yunye directly threw out a contract: I have a Bai Yueguang, no contact between us, divorce in three years.

Shi Yi: Okay.

Everyone was waiting to laugh at Shi Yi, when Lu Yunye choked up at a shareholder meeting: “Wife, my wife doesn’t like me at all…”

Shi Yi covered the alpha’s mouth and apologized to his in-laws present: “I’m sorry, he…”

“I want my wife’s pheromone,” Eyes red, Lu Yunye pounced on him before he finished speaking. “Please…”

Shi Yi had no choice but to coax him: “Be patient, and I will agree to any conditions when we go back.”

Alpha: Want to touch

Omega: Ok

Alpha: Want to kiss

Omega: …fine

Alpha: Want to fully mark

Omega: …

——————————

Lu Yunye has a Bai Yueguang buried deep in his heart. It is a soft and cute omega who looks like a sweet bun, with a peach-flavored pheromone that makes one go crazy.

He has been looking for his Bai Yueguang for more than ten years. Even after agreeing to get married, he still refuses to give up. Until one day the glands of his marriage partner developed, and he was overwhelmed by the sweetness of ripe peaches.

Bai Yueguang is actually my wife???

T/N: Omegaverse biology (estrus, susceptible periods) is a big part of the plot, and readers should be open to how it affects the MC & ML’s personality, thoughts, & behavior without jumping to conclusions.

Sigh, maybe I've read too many stories. It's not a bad story at all, but at this point, I'm not sure if I want to continue because I can already predict the misunderstandings, conflicts, and ending. The story is fine, but it drags on. The main characters are very typical of what you see in standard shoujo manga. The Male Lead (ML) is jealous of everything and possessive of the Main Character (MC), even though he has a "white moonlight" in his heart. The MC doesn't recognize his own feelings, repeating the idea of a contractual relationship in his head, as if trying to convince himself that their marriage is only temporary. Wow, like I haven't seen this in 50% of the stories I've read. I wonder what's going to happen. LOL. Haha.

My only minor complaint is the antagonists. They're weak and easily defeated by the ML. BORING. The story might as well focus solely on the two main characters and be only 40 chapters long. I'm on chapter 75, and nothing interesting has happened yet. I'm also about 3/4 done with the story.

What an amazing story! It's such a super cute and wholesome couple. I really can't understand the low reviews and ratings.

Super good! Can't wait for more chapters to be released.

    Just a light-hearted, slow-burn BL.

Decent. While reading, I felt it was quite average, but looking back, I realize I enjoyed this book more than I initially thought. (This is also why I edited this review; I realized I enjoyed it more than I thought.)

If you read the description, you know what to expect. The story follows an ML who falls in love with his "White Moonlight" without realizing that this person is his true "white moonlight" until later. The MC, on the other hand, ends up falling in love with his contract marriage partner but resists these feelings because he believes they will have to part ways eventually—not just due to the contract, but also because he has always dreamed of escaping his alpha father's influence to live alone with his omega father. However, he eventually gives in to his feelings and ML's love.

While reading, the plot seemed straightforward. But upon reflection, I found it had some nice points. The misunderstanding wasn't particularly annoying. It was clear that ML had feelings for the MC, but he hesitated to admit it, fearing it would be a betrayal of his childhood love. Eventually, he realizes that focusing on the present and the person with him is better than dwelling on the past. Moreover, the feelings he had for his "white moonlight" weren't the same as romantic love.

What slightly bothered me was that ML didn't reveal to the MC that he was his childhood crush for a long time. However, I can understand his nervousness and concerns. There was a risk that the MC might think ML's affection was based solely on their childhood connection rather than who he is now.

The MC and ML share a deep connection because both have faced similar challenges: the MC's glands are underdeveloped, and ML's glands developed late. ML was bullied and looked down upon in the past, and the MC has experienced similar treatment after his glands were damaged. It's heartwarming to see them support each other through different stages of their lives. This aspect becomes clearer in hindsight.

The story includes a cast of annoying villains, past pain and abuse (mainly in the MC's history), memory recovery, the MC's struggle with his identity as an omega with functioning glands, overcoming trauma, and learning to rely on another person.

With 101 chapters plus extras, that's the gist of it. Honestly, I feel it's worth reading if you have some time to spare.
