Ben was good at ignoring crass women who flirted without dignity. Rita Ukara was supposed to be one of such, despite being an insanely smart, annoying pest whose height reached only to his chest. The second story is categorized as shounen-ai, while the rest are labeled as shoujo. Although some characters are high school teenagers, neither the plots nor the art conform to typical shoujo tropes. Yumeka Sumomo's plots and characters are very realistic and relatable. There's no melodrama, no weepy girls, no seductive or rebellious princes. The characters aren't pop stars, idols, sports aces, or wealthy heirs. They're just like the boy or girl sitting next to you in class. Yet, they're far from boring; they're intriguing characters.
All four stories exude a mature vibe, likely due to the mature art style: realistic, simple, and clean. Additionally, despite the simplicity of the stories, Yumeka Sumomo draws readers into the minds of her characters. Her stories are introspective.
