Gu Yuanyuan had transmigrated inside a currently popular novel. She transmigrated into the body of a woman that carried the same name as her. Coincidentally, the woman already had four sons but was forcibly separated from them by an accident and had a miserable ending.

    This story had immense potential, but the author decided to conclude it at chapter 95. There were so many scenarios that could have been included, making the ending feel abrupt and unsatisfying, like having a bite of cake and then someone snatching it away. Still, I enjoyed the novel overall, and it’s worth reading to pass the time.

    Mindless fluff can still be great fluff. There are many questions to ask, but the answers are often murky. I picked it up because of the adorable description, and it definitely didn’t disappoint.

    I love the novel, but the timeline is really confusing me. Can someone explain the timeline to other readers?

    Here’s my understanding:
    - Gu Yuanyuan had four sons at a young age. When she reunites with them, she is mistaken to be young enough to be their daughter. How old is Gu Yuanyuan approximately? How old is her stepsister? How old are her children?
    - Gu Yuanyuan must have been at least 15 when she had her four sons. She was separated from them when she was around 20 (so the children were about 5 years old at that time). All four of her sons have grown up and are now adults, which suggests that at least 25 years have passed. Logically, she should be around 45 years old.
    - Why weren’t her stepsister and stepmother surprised by how young she looks? How is her father not already a retired grandpa?

    Are there two different timelines or stories happening here? I’m really confused...

    (4.2 stars) It was quite a journey reading this. I loved the hilarious and heartwarming family moments in the story. While the fantasy elements were quite bizarre to wrap my head around, I really appreciated how the ending turned out.

    I've finished reading this novel, and it's brimming with cuteness, fluff, and comedy. There's almost no angst. It was a very relaxing story for me. <em>ALL OF THEM</em> are just too cute!!

    Hello, MTL-er here!

    This is a story filled with mostly fluff and focuses on the interactions between our female lead and her sons! I find it incredibly cute and amusing how doting and protective they are towards their mother! I also really enjoy seeing her interact with the children's father, Spoiler!

    The story is currently ongoing, but I think it should be nearing the end.

    Fluffy and low on drama, I highly recommend this novel for when you want to relax or pass some time. The story focuses on the family dynamics of the main character. Her interactions with her children are incredibly endearing. The ending is also very satisfying, as they are all reunited—spoiler alert: including the supposed father. However, I must emphasize that there is no romantic element between them; only their past is revealed.
