Naruto : The Wind Calamity

The protagonist finds themselves transported into the Naruto universe as a young, orphaned civilian, but with a fortunate twist – they gain access to chakra. This tale follows their journey as they gradually accumulate strength, adapt to the ninja world, and strive to become the most powerful force. Here's what you can anticipate: 1. **Character Development**: Our main character is intelligent and consistent, relying on wit and perseverance rather than immediate power-ups. 2. **Hard Work and Training**: Expect extensive training sessions and character growth through experience. 3. **Plot Manipulation**: The MC will skillfully navigate the narrative to their advantage. 4. **Original Story Arcs**: You'll encounter fresh storylines that expand upon the established Naruto universe. 5. **Adaptation**: While staying true to the overall plot up until Shippuden, I'll avoid repeating specific events from the manga, assuming readers have already familiarized themselves with it. Please note: - The MC is cautious and only risks their life when absolutely necessary. - Since I haven't watched or read "Boruto," its plot elements may not be a significant focus. - This is my first fanfiction, so constructive feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated. While grammar and basic English should be error-free, I'm still refining my dialogue and scenario writing skills. Let's see how it evolves as the story progresses.

This fanfiction is a refreshing gem in the sea of isekai stories. The protagonist's journey into the Naruto world is a breath of fresh air as he navigates without the crutch of overpowered abilities. The author's commitment to realism shines through the protagonist's hard work and meticulous approach, adding a layer of believability often absent in similar tales.

What truly sets this fanfic apart is the meticulous attention given to the Naruto world. Unlike other fics where the universe is a mere backdrop, here, every nuance is explored. The story doesn't revolve solely around the protagonist; it weaves seamlessly into the existing narrative, showcasing a deep respect for the source material.

The absence of overpowered tropes is a welcome surprise. The protagonist's struggles and triumphs feel earned, creating a more engaging and relatable narrative. The injection of humor further elevates the story, offering moments of levity amid the challenges.

Moreover, the author's incorporation of psychology, ranks, and politics adds layers of complexity, transforming the narrative into a well-rounded exploration of the Naruto world. This fanfic doesn't just retell a tale; it enriches and expands upon the established lore.

In essence, this fanfiction stands out as a masterpiece, blending a well-crafted protagonist, a respectful treatment of the source material, and a narrative that seamlessly integrates humor, psychology, and political intrigue. It's a captivating journey that sets a high bar for fanfiction in the Naruto universe.

I hope you read this masterpiece ;)

I read up to chapter 210 and was sadly disappointed by the MC's cowardice.

He had an uchiha friend who later in the story was killed in the massacre, something the MC could have avoided, but he chose not to go save and collect sharigan, he even had the audacity to stand in front of her grave and pretend to be sad . What good are all these training arcs if he can't even save a friend (try)? The fanfic is good but the MC is one of those emotionless MC's that just runs after their goals without even looking at their childhood friends or teammates.

Honestly, the story started good, it was a fun read, until around chapter 204. This chapter showed us that the MC is just an emotionless brick. Usually a story is formed through the interactions and connections the characters have between each other and how they grow through them. But this MC is the perfect ninja, no attachment, only training and killing montages. Tbh, a very bland MC.

Tbh this is my first Naruto fanfic read and it destroy my taste in a good way. After I read the latest chapter during this review (ch358), I decide to find other Naruto fanfic but nothing come close to this one.

So yeah, I can’t enjoy the other fanfic because of this one lol.

A minus one for me, the MC should’ve atleast meet Naruto once during all of this chapter. Kinda sad this not happening yet.

I read till chapter 127ish and in my opinion this is the best fanfic of naruto I've read so far.

The MC has no cheats, but trains like there's no tomorrow and is cautious, which I think is another good point of this novel. It worth noting that he is an anti-hero type. He is no psychopath/sociopath/evil and he is also no saint/hero/happy-go-lucky type person(which in my opinion is very good, as I'm sick tired of reading about those.)

This novel is for those that like or at least can manage training arcs. There is a lot of it, especially in the beginning when he is in the academy. Make no mistake though, the novel NEVER got boring! The training arcs were actually my favorite arcs so far. In fact, for me, the fact that the MC depends on himself for power-ups(at least as far as I have read) instead of seeking external sources of strenght(like a zero-tails, for example), or random lucky encounters, is something I enjoy very much.

There is no sudden power-ups, or cheats. There is a little bit of comedy, especially in the interactions with Hiruzen, but just a little. This novel also explore the possibilities of wind style ninjutsus, beyond what the likes of temari, or even danzo, could ever hope to show in canon. Most importantly, at least as far as I could tell, there was no logical jumps anywhere. It's all very neat and creative, without making the reader feel alienated or flabbergasted in anyway. (Just the fact that there is no system granting him haki, or random space-type powers or whatever powers that do not fit at all in the universe is already fantastic to be honest...it's also why I started disliking fanfics with systems.)

Oh and the pace so far is very good as well, at least for people like me that enjoy long stories with lots of adventures/training... though the adventure part happens later in the novel. Still, its awesome. It's a bit like a slice of life type novel, but faster and with a few time skips. I certainly enjoyed the pace very much.

Btw, about stability of updates, I have no clue. I'm the type of reader that waits for hundreds of chapters to be released before I start reading a story. So yea. OH, and there was no romance in the novel so far.

In summary, hopefully this novel will be 1k chapters long!

So you are saying that the Mc , a 7 year old kid who lived only 2 year in ninja world , could fool Monkey god of shinobi (faking fear and portraying himself as a naive kid ).... I dont know about others but this 'acting like kid' thing is really putting me off ....

i am disappointed to be honest , but yh here we go :
    - as of right now updates seems ok
-decent writing quality could use some improvements but good enough to be considered GOOD in webnovel .
    - nothing much to say about WB as it is a fancfic except some major/minor things like there being quite a few senju clan members in the village and some new wind jutsu i guess idk if there's more as i stopped reading pretty early in the genin arc  or either i dont temember atm.
    - Now CD and SD , its terrible imo , like mc is a paranoid , cowardly , robotlike mf , i couldnt relate to nor could i get my self to like him no matter how i tried , let me give you an example , he is above average and i trying to not show his above average abilities as not to get danzo attention … like mate you are an orphane civilian with above average skills , nobody cares about yooh also he is stupid to think he could deceive experienceed NINJAs with his little acts , but do you know whats worst ? It actually bloody works on even the hokage supposedly the best shinobi there , like this is ridiculous to the highest degree .
i just couldnt get my self to read past this nonsense , but if you dont mind any of this stated above then you would probably enjoy the fiction , yikes i guess really liked the story idea huh cant believe i spent a whole day reading , was so frustrated i hit the gym before writting this comment

This is a really creative fan fiction that occurs in an anime world and doesn't make me cringe at forcing the character to interact with most of the main characters in Naruto. For someone like me who likes the growth from weak to strong, this is gold as it is well-paced and has good story development. I was gutted when the Author took his break but good thing he saw the light and the will of fire made him continue with this novel
