The narrative unfolds with unfortunate events befalling each character, potentially turning off many readers. The characters缺乏讨喜之处, appearing foolish at times, yet there's a certain relatability to their flaws. If you're curious about the conclusion, it leans towards a positive side.

The book receives a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars. It's concise and easily digestible. In terms of storytelling, the novel may be considered trash, but it has two redeeming qualities: it doesn't shy away from confrontation and doesn't拖沓 with unnecessary suspense.

The plot initially starts simple but takes an unexpected turn later on. The unique aspect of the story lies in its characters, who stand out in their own way. Here's a non-spoiler summary:

Almost everyone surrounding the main character comes across as unsatisfactory, which might have added a distinctive touch, but it also creates an unrealistic and frustrating reading experience.

One character, Mizuki, emerges as a significant twist. Initially portrayed as a strong, composed sidekick offering sound advice, her true nature turns out to be deceitful. Her morally questionable decisions and advice, though initially perplexing, serve as a subtle clue to her dishonesty. This unexpected turn makes the story stand out among similar works, as it effectively builds tension.

However, the ending leaves a sour taste, particularly because Mizuki escapes consequences without remorse. This lack of accountability from her character contributes to the reader's dissatisfaction with the conclusion. Overall, while the novel has its flaws, the clever character development keeps it above average within its genre.

This story is quite good, it's all about power struggles in politics. It's like Game of Thrones. Consipracies and schemes are like strings of webs that connects each other towards to a certain goal—a fight for the throne. I quite pity Thales, he's stuck on a this game of chess. His life is always in danger, because of his bloodline that runs deep in his bones. He was forced to take the responsibilities and he can't just abandoned it—as his identity as the last heir of the kingdom—his vital role will affect the kingdom's future, and its citicizens. There are many twists here also, as it's said Fantasy, so there are superpowers involved. I remember a saying that—"History is written by victors"—heh, very true.Though I'm fascinated by schemes in politics especially that involves nobles like in the times of Middle Ages, there are cons here. Our MC is a transmigrator so it's normal that he has memories from previous life, but there are too many unnecessary jargons, like he remembered the teaching on his prostgraduate course. It doesn't even played a role or purpose, honestly. This book is quite too detailed when writing a fight that can last to 4-5 chapters more or less. And, if my memory doesn't betray me, almost within a hundred chapters—2/3 weeks or one month had passed! Yeah, very strenuous.I appreciate the authors detialed explanation of geographies, histories, lists of nobles, territories, etc. But hey! This book will bombarded you of many names and information to the point you can't keep track on what's happening. You can't or it's hard to distinguish who is who. Unless you have a big brain. The author won't let you digest or rest because in another few chapters, another thing will happen. Yeah, too much information of history and the world. It's very detailed to the point that one scheme or action scene will last atleast 10 chapters. If you read and used to these kinds of genre then it's quite easy to comprehend or predict each scheme, honestly. But some of them is quite hard too and it's enough to hold your interest to read, but the downside is if you have enough patience to read an excruciating and long detailed scheme though. That is all, hoping to have more updates.

I have the feeling that Elena would end up with Sian, which is very upsetting if it were to happen. I mean, there must be better guys out there. What's the point of her rebirth if she were to be together with the crown prince whom she suppose to move on!?Just very frustrating.
