Luo Ling, an expert in the art of disguise, was bound to a System and was eager to begin his task.
As a result, before even successfully completing a mission, he got married!
At a 36 degree angle, Luo Ling sorrowfully looked up into space: “Tong’er, tell me, do I still have a chance to free myself?”
System: “… Your man is behind you.”
Luo Ling: “!!!”
The person who arrived, gathered Luo Ling in his arms, hugging him from behind as he said in a bewitchingly dangerous tone: “Based on your thoughts, it seems that I have not given you enough love. So let’s proceed in exploring ways to continue a new life.”

The main characters (ML and MC) have a strong connection, forming a sweet and adorable couple. The ML is a hot-tempered yet lovable character, while the MC is a distant prince with a gentle heart. However, their relationship's foundation is my main concern. In Arc 1, they meet accidentally when the MC damages ML's shirt, leading to assumptions. Though they meet a couple more times, it's surprising that ML falls for MC after just two encounters within a day. This rapid development raises doubts, especially since their bond wasn't established beforehand.
As for the MC's character, I find him inconsistent, switching between arrogance, shyness, coldness, and fragility. It's confusing, but perhaps it's just my interpretation.
Regarding side characters in Arc 1, I don't particularly like most of them, particularly ML's friends, fans, and fellow students. They come across as annoying, rude, and illogical, making it hard to empathize with them. However, there are a couple of redeemable supporting characters who don't bother me.
One critique is that the novel feels somewhat lengthy. Perhaps the author could consider merging chapters or extending them to streamline the story and make it more enjoyable for readers and translators, although it's just a suggestion.
Lastly, considering factors like the number of Chinese words or the intention to keep readers engaged through ads, the numerous chapters might be a result of these factors. Overall, I rate this novel 3.5 out of 5.
I'm unsure about MC's overpowered nature, but the plugin adds a slight boost. Although I've come across plenty of other light-hearted stories, this one stands out for its simplicity, lack of intense drama, and unique plot. From the first arc to the fourth, it's packed with entertaining content, making me feel like I've been indulging in a dog food buffet. The MC's quirky personality is charming, making me want to be friends with him, despite his occasional cold-hearted moments – let's consider it fitting payback for wronging the Ogs.
As a reader, I appreciate the authenticity when the MC displays aggression or negative thoughts, as it's realistic given his human nature. This story doesn't cater to an ideal, superpowered protagonist who instantly反击; it's more grounded and relatable.
The stories缺乏 depth and originality, often relying on clichés that fell flat for me. The main character has minimal background, reducing him to a one-dimensional figure driven by greed, which isn't amusing; rather, it detracts from his character development.
The protagonist's "sixth sense" regarding the primary characters is underutilized, and during the apocalypse arc, it's barely acknowledged. The main character lacks intelligence, charisma, or any standout qualities beyond his good looks, which is unsatisfying.
The love-at-first-sight trope feels overly generic and unconvincing, lacking any spark or emotional investment. The romance feels bland and uninteresting, leaving me disinterested in continuing unless there's a genuine connection between the characters.
Frankly, the main character and the system have better chemistry than the supposed main couple. The few humorous moments come mainly from the interactions with the system, suggesting that the bland main lead needs to be reconsidered.
In the illegitimate child arc, I found the character's potential predatory behavior towards his brother unsettling, especially before discovering their true relationship. This issue was not adequately addressed, leaving a sour taste.
Unfortunately, despite liking only a small fraction of the storylines, the poor quality of the other arcs drags down the entire narrative, making it difficult to endure. The couple I enjoyed cannot save this book from its mediocrity.
The main character (ML) remains consistent across different worlds, and love-at-first-sight dynamics develop between him and the protagonist. Although there are occasional clashes, the focus is more on the protagonist leveraging events from the original story to gain favor and affection from the ML. The unique aspect of this BL (Boy's Love) novel compared to others is the protagonist's ability to sense when the original character is plotting against him, which adds a comedic touch. The relationship between the protagonist and the system is another enjoyable aspect of the story.
As for the "love at first sight" trope, I didn't mind it after witnessing the awkward pursuit in Arc 1; I wasn't eager to see a repeat performance. The male lead, although stereotypical with his possessiveness, wasn't as one-dimensional as some reviews suggested. His constant exasperation and adoration created a humorous dynamic in their relationship.
One aspect that set this novel apart from others in its genre was the development of characters who were initially meant to be mainstays. They started off annoying, but by the midpoint of their arcs, they underwent significant changes, even becoming fans of the main couple. It was refreshing to see such growth.
Lastly, I must commend the translator for injecting modern Western slang into the chapters, which added a delightful touch of humor. Your choice of words truly elevated the translation. Well done! 🙌👏
