However, the sudden transition to a school setting felt a bit abrupt at first, but it quickly drew me in.The academy arc takes around 15 chapters to wrap up and fully establish the world and its mysteries. While it's longer than I typically prefer, the setup itself was an enjoyable read.The characters are engaging, and their interactions are often both amusing and layered with deeper meaning. The development of the two protagonists is particularly well done.What stands out to me the most is the remarkable attention to detail. Even the smallest, most subtle elements are intricately woven into the story, ensuring nothing is left unused.Though I noticed issues in nearly every chapter, such as plot points or dialogue that didn’t always make sense, I initially mistook this for shallow writing. Over time, I realized that the author intentionally included these inconsistencies, which makes their resolution in later chapters all the more rewarding.I really enjoy the writing style, which strikes a perfect balance between predictability and surprise, similar to some of my favorite stories like Lord of the Mysteries and Shadow Slave.
