Kembalilah Padaku Stella!

There were no reviews for Working!!, so I decided to write one for people interested in reading it. I chose to read it after searching for more 4-koma style manga, and I'm glad I did. This review contains no spoilers.  

Story: The main plot revolves around the protagonist who has been recruited to work at a family-style restaurant. While there—and occasionally at home or commuting—he interacts with a regular cast of employees, an irregular cast of visitors, and his own family members. Throughout the manga, subplots are developed for nearly each of the regular characters as they navigate their personal challenges (both positive and negative), helping each other succeed in life. Although the author sometimes dragged out certain stories longer than necessary or repeated parts of them (which, while enjoyable, made me eager for resolution), it was well-executed for a feel-good manga.  

Art: The art is simple, not as striking as scenes from Berserk, but in a 4-koma, you don't need high-quality visuals—just consistency and effective reaction expressions for punchlines. It was done well here; I love when reaction faces are executed properly in comedy. Expect both foreground and background reactions that will make you smirk while reading.  

Characters: For the most part, the characters were well-written. A couple felt a bit lazy, but they fit their roles among the others, making it work overall. You genuinely enjoy the interactions between older and younger characters, the unexpected appearances of irregular visitors bringing instant humor, and the romantic subplots, which aren't overly sweet but still evoke a "rooting-for-them" feeling. In this type of manga, establishing good character growth can be challenging, but it was achieved effectively here.  

Enjoyment/Overall: I adored this manga. Every time I picked it up, I looked forward to reading it. One challenge authors face in 4-koma is making punchlines feel natural, and there weren't any forced ones throughout this manga. There were occasional lulls where I waited to get back to the highlights, but I never felt like putting it down or rushing through it just to finish. Instead, I'm disappointed to have finished it so quickly and wish I could re-read it for the first time again. While it won't rank among my all-time favorite mangas, it's something I'll always recommend as a great read.

The first arc is so good lol. I don't know how many times ive reread it just because of how great it was.

The second arc is definitely also good but to me it kinda becomes a bit redundant a bit reading through the mtl but it's still one hell of a novel. Also might just be because i was reading the mtl that it felt redundant so don't quote me on that.

Atleast the first part never makes me fail to tear up a bit each time ive reread it.

I'd give it a 9/10 if it wasn't redundant but that could also be the MTL's fault so borderline 10/10. You won't regret reading this, this novel made me question the ranking system for this site lol.

I would advise reading the manga first and continuing from there, otherwise it gets a bit repetitive without imagery. However this is probably my most favorite LN of all time, I was in tears at the end.
