She walked toward the river as she always did every night. She removed her lace cap, her bloody apron, and her bloody maid dress, tossing all of her clothes in the river. Even in the dark evening, she could see the powerful water carrying them away.

I bit back another moan. "They would have had to deceive the high council. I'm sure they do some sort of test to detect truth from lie."

I let cold indifference glint in my eyes as I lied to her, "I've seen better.  Pack your crap and get out of my territory.  I'm putting word out that my protection over you is rescinded.  By dawn tomorrow, you'll be gone or dead.  And don't think the wolves will stand for you.  Their Fenris has called them in for an accounting."

Zen hurriedly jumped back to catch his breath and create some distance.

As it seems.. That zombies only go crazed once noticing the existence of their prey.

The few remaining three Empires saw the struggles and the soon to be the downfall of their race and put down their own gains for the greater good of all. These three great empires were known as Glanton, Melantois, and Frenth. Between the three their population was close to 50 million which was close to 50% of the remaining human population. Using their armies they forced weaker nations to join their Alliance which was named Aretonions. Eventually, all of the known world was conquered by these three and they began new efforts to sustain their people. They created new ways to farm, hunt, fish, and it worked. The human population began to stabilize and all seemed well. This remained for the next hundred years which was named The Fertile Age as the land provided for the humans.
