A’Xian doesn’t answer. He can’t. Not when the prince’s gloved hand is slipping lower, not when the space between them is vanishing, not when he’s dangerously close to forgetting that this isn’t love—it’s obsession.
And yet, as soft lips brush against his throat in a mythical promise, he wonders if, in this life, he’ll be the one to break first.
