The Crown Prince of Jing City, Rong Nian, was reputed to be cold and abstinent, indifferent to the charms of women, a thorny aloof person. Until someone captured a photo of him passionately kissing a woman in a car. His eyes reddening at the edges, he struggled to control his emotion, "Baby, could you love me once more?" Later, the usually low-key and never-showy Rong Nian walked through all of the high society families in Jing City with his delicate wife in his arms and his son, sporting a tuft of silly hair, in hand. Jiang Xi had always thought it was her first encounter with Rong Nian, only to realize it was a painstakingly orchestrated reunion!

This novel delivers a high-speed, action-heavy story with just the right touch of romance—without falling into the usual harem tropes. The pacing keeps the reader engaged, throwing them into intense battles, strategic planning, and gripping conflicts that unfold across different perspectives. One of the standout features is the multiple POVs, offering insight into various characters' thoughts, motivations, and struggles. It adds depth to the world and makes the stakes feel real. The romance is present but doesn’t overshadow the core action, keeping it balanced without unnecessary drama. If you enjoy fast storytelling with fluid transitions, diverse character viewpoints, and a strong focus on action, this is a novel worth picking up.

Okay. I'm gonna be honest here. This story is really well written so far. So well written in fact that, when a 'specific' character of a 'specifically high' status, that is either actively in a scene or talked about, I literally almost cringe. The fact that I'm able to 'feel' the psychosis of this character just based on the way he speaks is astonishing and really cringey. And I mean that as a compliment. Other than that I'm really excited to see where this story goes. I think the dynamic between each character, no matter the relationship, is easy to feel and understand. The villainess is, obviously, cute on many levels. I don't like that the main character won't say what she really feels to the 'specifically high status' character, but I'm not really complaining here because I understand why. I'm just being impatient 😄 haha. Anyway continue doing your best. Can't wait for the next chapter. P.S: freaking love the maid 🤍 🖤

I'm not very good at reviewing things, but this is simply a masterpiece. I love everything. The power system. The pacing. The technique the author uses when it comes to flashbacks, it makes me want to know more about the history of this world. I can't get enough.

Of course, the purpose of the internship is to join Gotei 13, such as Xia Yan, who is enrolled in advance, without having to assess the internship results, and then directly go through the graduation ceremony and the awarding ceremony.

Jeff: Yes, yes I do.  I'm the person who does most of the matinence on them, so when you read that someone had a 'system update' it means I had to screw with time, and take a few years to update the algorithms, do you have any idea how long I've spent on 'updating' these systems?  In the end, I'll still have to update it about a year later, because they meet some guy that the system cannot properly judge.  The only positive to any system is how we can assign missions, most of the missions from a system come from either the will of the system, or the host's subconscious, but we can also use them to chase down plot holes.  Why else do you think some of the missions assigned are so random and arbitrary?
