One day, Song Shuhang was suddenly added to a chat group with many seniors that suffered from chuuni disease. The people inside the group would call each other ‘Fellow Daoist’ and had all different kinds of titles: Palace Master, Cave Lord, True Monarch, Immortal Master, etc. Even the pet of the founder of the group that had run away from home was called ‘monster dog’. They would talk all day about pill refining, exploring ancient ruins, or share their experience on techniques.
However, after lurking inside the group for a while, he discovered that not all was what it seemed...

The "Cultivation Chat Group" is an intriguing and captivating read. It masterfully weaves a tale of ordinary individuals transcending into extraordinary realms through a digital platform. The plot keeps you hooked with its blend of camaraderie, unexpected twists, and the parallel growth of characters. "Cultivation Chat Group" is a captivating and thought-provoking novel that explores the intersection of modern technology, virtual reality, and the human quest for self-improvement. Set in a whimsical world where an online chat group facilitates spiritual growth, the story delves into the realms of Eastern philosophies, friendship, and the blurred lines between reality and digital existence.

The novel invites readers to ponder the nature of consciousness and the power of community in shaping one's beliefs and aspirations. It highlights the allure of transcending mundane life through the cultivation of inner strength, much like the traditional concept of "cultivation" in martial arts or spiritual practices. The characters' journeys are both humorous and poignant, as they navigate the challenges and revelations that come with their virtual quest.

What sets this book apart is its ability to blend light-hearted comedy with profound existential themes, making it accessible to a wide audience. It serves as a reminder that, in an increasingly digital age, we can still find meaning and connection through shared experiences and the pursuit of personal growth.

Ultimately, "Cultivation Chat Group" is a delightful and insightful read that encourages readers to reflect on their own lives, values, and the role of technology in shaping our perceptions of self-improvement. It's a refreshing take on contemporary literature that will leave you pondering long after the last page.

A really funny novel with funny mc and characters. So many misunderstandings that you will laugh so much that will hurt your stomach. Slow-ass-- Slow-paced novel because author is too focused on the novel comedy.

    +1 support for GodBrandy's translation.

    140 characters eh?
These are from a book called Disorder in the Courts and are things people actually said in court, word for word,
ATTORNEY: What was the first thing your husband said to you that morning?

WITNESS: He said, 'Where am I, Cathy?'

ATTORNEY: And why did that upset you?

    WITNESS: My name is Susan!

TTORNEY: She had three children, right?

    WITNESS: Yes.

    ATTORNEY: How many were boys?

    WITNESS: None.

    ATTORNEY: Were there any girls?

WITNESS: Your Honor, I think I need a different attorney. Can I get a new attorney?

    ───

ATTORNEY: How was your first marriage terminated?

    WITNESS: By death.

ATTORNEY: And by whose death was it terminated?

    WITNESS: Take a guess.

    ───

ATTORNEY: Can you describe the individual?

WITNESS: He was about medium height and had a beard

ATTORNEY: Was this a male or a female?

WITNESS: Unless the Circus was in town I'm going with male.

The issue with names here... Is that qidian's  translator didn't go through any of the previous chapters. None. Which means the only ones to read prior to this, are fan translations that have always been consistent. This is not consistent. By changing the names you are leaving every reader to guess and piece together which names got changed to what, why certain names got changed in the way they did (ah qi to seven. You left out half the name. But Su Clan's seven every single instance instead is so much better, right?) and the fact that you also changed the names of all the stages of cultivation.
Essentially, I can't help but feel the people who made these decisions only did it to 'individualize' this trans from fan ones. That is pathetic reason that only serves to confuse readers. Not a single damn was given about continuity, ease of transition for readers since qidian's full time translators will outpace fan ones that are doing it running only on generous donations AND Qidian did not bother translating any of the previous chapters so new readers could go and start from scratch to actually not be forced to google unofficial translations threatened with legal action.
    Hm.
So... What I'm getting from this is Qidian WANTS us to read unofficial translations instead of their own more contrived, and due to internal company political issues, lesser quality translations.
Either go back and have a separate, smaller team make up the gap between chapter 1 and 138, or change your terminology to be more familiar to the reader while there are still less than 50 chapters to edit. That would be the proper way to do this, and despite all past actions I have hope for a good solution that I contributed to or a better one I didn't think of.
