"You can never escape me, Yueyue." Meet Bai Liyue, a beautiful woman with the kindest heart. She aspires to become an actress and fulfill her childhood dream but every time she tries, she's only met with failures. Like in every person's life, there is a villain. She has one too. In her case, it was her husband - Qin Yufeng! He's a Mafia King, one of the most powerful men in the entire country whose fearsome reputation in the Underworld spreads far and wide. But he hides behind the identity of the richest billionaire CEO. Money, power, fame... he has it all. Men want to be him and women wanted to be with him, but not her. For her, he was simply an over-possessive control freak. She hated him from the bottom of her heart. A loveless marriage contract bound her to him. The day she understood that the person behind her failure was her husband was the day she died. However, destiny gave her another chance. She got transmigrated into the body of Chen Ziyue, a pop singer with the worst reputation who was also known as 'the scandalous queen.' From there began her journey with a new life, a new identity, and a chance to fulfill her dream. But what will happen when she discovers that she will never escape from the husband of her past life? What will she do when she sees him sitting inside her home, waiting for her? Will she be able to fulfill her dreams? Or will she give him a second chance and accept his love? ### The beautiful cover art doesn't belong to me. All the credit goes to the original owner.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading Punch Up, but from the very first volume, I was hooked.

What stood out most to me about Punch Up is the dynamic between Maki Motoharu and Ohki Kouta—it’s sweet and playful. I loved how they explore a sexy scenario together, naturally drawn to each other. Both Maki and Ohki grow to trust one another, making progress in their relationship.

The manga showcases creativity in its panel layouts. The characters are attractive and have quirky personalities. Maki behaves like a horny, silly teenager—even though he’s 31 years old. Ohki, on the other hand, is often reserved, though he can turn aggressive and punch anyone who crosses him.

Maki and Ohki are like opposites—chalk and cheese—but in the bedroom, they’re scorching hot! The sex scenes don’t shy away from depicting male anatomy. The artwork is clean and has a unique style. Overall, this manga is highly recommended for those who enjoy high levels of smut combined with good drama.

This is truly an exceptional manga, there's absolutely nothing to criticize. The storyline is fantastic and always leaves you craving for more. Now that it's completed, I still found myself eagerly awaiting the next release. The protagonist leads a joyful life with his partner, who has a slight penchant for perversion. However, one day, he encounters the man who was his first lover, and this meeting begins to cause issues with his boyfriend. Things escalate to the point where he attempts suicide and loses his memory. But I won't reveal any further details—you need to read this manga yourself.

Read about 369 chapters, and here's what I think:

Not bad. It gets better over time.

My only complaint is the slow pace of the plot. It seems like I've read far fewer chapters than I actually have.

Then there's the world building, which I have to say is definitely the weakest point of the novel.

The only things we have are the royal castle, the black market, the royal dungeon, and a few trips outside the capital.

For an isekai, I expected more development in this area.

The further we go with secondary characters, the less scene they are given, and except for a few, the rest are practically discarded.

There are also some filler chapters, but they are few. Otherwise, the novel is okay. Give it a chance.

it certainly has its fair share of problems, but as I said, the novel improves over time.

That being said, I'll stop here, as this novel is not my cup of tea.

Again, the novel isn't great (at least it isn't as far as I've read), but it's not mediocre either.
