December 31, 2099, Earth.

To many, it was the end of the world. Ragnarok, the Rapture, Hell on Earth. Whatever you called it, the Zeno War was brutal as it was swift. In one bloody year, 90% of humanity was wiped out by a race dubbed the \"Zenolists\".

While our weapons were powerful, they couldn\'t hold a candle to the power these beings held. And to think there was an entire empire of races similar to them out there waiting to conquer...

One thing was for certain, Humanity needed to evolve. Funnily enough, some of us already had.

On each continent held a house holding immense but secret power. The Mojave of North America, Mictlantecuhtli of South America, Abildgaard of Europe, Zulfikar of Africa, Xia of Aisa, Neivörn of Antarctica, and last but not least, the Cain house of Australia.

For centuries, each of these houses hid in the shadows, feigning normality. This choice possibly saved Earth, as the force sent by the Zenolists proved too little to stop their retaliation. Sadly, the population loss wasn\'t the worst part.

The Cains fell, and Australia was completely annihilated.

Now, nearly 46 years after the end of the Zeno War, Leonidas Mourningstar must fight his way to the top of humanity, clawing tooth and nail from the dregs of the new world. And if he fails?
