"Let me get to know you better, Mr. Davenport," she inquires, her tone gentle. I continue typing, logging into my computer without looking up. "What specific information are you seeking, Miss Harvey?" I reply. "You're not currently involved with anyone, correct?" she presses, a hint of curiosity in her voice. I raise my head, slightly surprised by the question, and shake my head. "No, I'm not," I admit, truthfully. Her expression lights up, and she responds, "That's good to hear." Confused, I ask, "Why is that significant?" Before I can delve deeper, she surprises me with another query, "Mr. Davenport, do you find me appealing?" Her playful tone catches me off guard. I study her face, trying to decipher her intentions. "Humoring you, I'd have to say you're attractive, but I'm unsure how that relates to the present situation," I clarify. She grins and prompts, "Well, Mr. Davenport, or should I call you Blake? What do you think?" Feeling somewhat bewildered, I decide to overlook her antics. Sensing my silence, she leans closer, her attire leaving little to the imagination. "Don't ignore me, Blake," she says, playfully challenging me. Observing her, I recall it's been four years since my last intimate encounter. It's unclear if she's truly flirting or just pushing boundaries. "Curious, how solid is this desk, actually?" she asks, diverting the conversation. I assess the situation, still uncertain of her motives.
