On the day of her husband's birthday, Regina Campbell discovered him in an unexpected situation with another woman. What was most devastating was his lack of regret, as he even ridiculed her for believing she deserved love. Heartbroken, Regina decided to leave everything behind and seek a fresh start in a new city. During her journey, she discovered a shocking truth – she was carrying her ex-husband's child. With this realization, Regina made a solemn promise to herself: never to let any man into her life and to fiercely protect herself and her daughter from such pain. Fast forward four years, her daughter's life was saved by a relentless and caring man, a powerful presidential CEO, who refused to give up on breaking through her walls. How could he possibly convince Regina to open her heart once more? And how long would it take for those feelings to become impossible to ignore? As the story unfolds, the question remains: when would their connection turn from persistence to undeniable love?

Not bad. It gets better over time.
My only complaint is the slow pace of the plot. It seems like I've read far fewer chapters than I actually have.
Then there's the world building, which I have to say is definitely the weakest point of the novel.
The only things we have are the royal castle, the black market, the royal dungeon, and a few trips outside the capital.
For an isekai, I expected more development in this area.
The further we go with secondary characters, the less scene they are given, and except for a few, the rest are practically discarded.
There are also some filler chapters, but they are few. Otherwise, the novel is okay. Give it a chance.
it certainly has its fair share of problems, but as I said, the novel improves over time.
That being said, I'll stop here, as this novel is not my cup of tea.
Again, the novel isn't great (at least it isn't as far as I've read), but it's not mediocre either.
