    This is exactly what I want for a game of thrones story and I finally found it. You didn’t try to change it into modern ideals like trying to put women as an heir or something which I love just because feudal society would crumble and it’s one  of the facts of the world and the time period wouldn’t allow it. Like lords can march their armies into battle and are more level headed and less likely to die off with their line because women may die in childbirth and boom no more of that line. Same with not introducing anything too modern or world breaking. Now you did hint at gun powder in the future but please don’t I like the setting of game of thrones and the time period please don’t  change that and like you said he can do whatever he wants because he is OP which I also love but introduce guns to that and suddenly his line wouldn’t live too long or at least rule as a gunshot could kill them or whatever.
