Maya Bennett was an ordinary human girl who didn't entertain the idea of supernatural beings. Her days were routine and uneventful. That all changed when her workplace underwent a significant shift with the arrival of a new CEO, Zane Carrington. He was the epitome of dreamy charm, capturing the hearts of many women, but he carried hidden secrets that, if exposed, could unravel everything in an instant. Zane had set his sights on Maya, despite her clear reluctance to get involved. However, the thought of quitting her job to escape him simply wasn't an option for her.

No wow factor, no new flavor, nothing. It's giving "generic". It depends whether you find "generic" a (+) or (-). In some ways it is somewhat predictable, from the plot to the characters (their personalities).
Characterization could use more work to make the characters feel more "real" (subjectively speaking). Perhaps I'm just tired with the tropes used in this novel given how common these elements are to the point that I must say it's overused. I can't tolerate some illogical aspects (narrative wise).
Author needs further development in the aspect of conceptualization, so as to avoid resorting to incorporating cliché. I need more layers to the plot, characters, and overall elements of the narrative. This may have potential, but serious work needs to be done.
To summarize, I find this novel no different than the tens of the same genre and plot... average. It's not bad but it is definitely lacking in some key aspects.
Just saying.
I'm especially envious due to the small number of non-yaoi novels with agriculture in the apocalypse, it's almost always a fighting power that the author nerfs to increase the number of chapters, and the MC takes female characters as pokemons or is a lone wolf.
A support skill would be much better at forcing the author to squeeze the most out of it, but it's always the same road MC OP -> Nerfed MC
