Dylan, raised without apprehension and averse to authority, was an independent spirit who didn't easily bend. He wasn't known for his amiability or humility; instead, he found himself reluctantly serving the arrogant and high-tempered son of a prominent figure, following his father's footsteps as a personal bodyguard. Alexander, on the other hand, felt unfulfilled in his life. Driven by the desire for justice for his mother's tragic death, he reluctantly submitted to his father's expectations. Most admired him, but not so much the aloof bodyguard assigned to protect him. As these two complex characters began a subtle power struggle, it was unclear who would be the first to lose their grip and become entangled in the whims of fate. Would one succumb to the psychological games, ultimately rising to dominance or falling to the depths of manipulation? The outcome hung in the balance.

A really good read for those who like level system novels in VR that give the MC real live benefits.
Edit: the conflict between Belinda and the mercenaries made no sense. She could just resolve it with money, she could clearly see that they were outnumbered. But no, just had to make unnecessary drama, she was evil not dumb.
