"Sign here, as I've got the divorce papers," Darren Venzor announced upon Areiza Kensley's arrival. The pain in her heart was excruciating, yet she forced a composed expression, unwilling to show weakness in front of him.
She swiftly took the papers and retrieved a pen, but Darren promptly夺走 it. "Don't you want to read the agreement?" he asked, brows knitted. Areiza smirked, "No need, I trust you've prepared everything to my advantage, even if I don't need it." Darren nodded, conceding, "Exactly. This house is yours, along with your mother's medical bills, which I'll continue to cover. You won't have any financial worries." She inwardly scoffed at his supposed consideration. Feeling a sense of finality, Areiza signed the papers forcefully, convinced that this marked the beginning of her new life without Darren Venzor's interference... Yet, as she signed, did Areiza truly believe their paths would part ways, or were there hidden consequences lurking beyond the divorce papers...?

Popular Reviews
The plot evolves with people being captured and Gu Hai rescuing them over and over again, that or him helping them with something. There's quite literally nothing else aside from what happens in between when he's doing one of those two things — sometimes both simultaneously, believe it or not.
I didn't bother to count, but I'm pretty sure people got captured over 20 times in less than 500 chapters... Sometimes he rescues someone and they get captured again right after. No, I'm not joking.
His personality is basically "being smart" and "being good", but his "being smart" is just an overly-forced plot armor which is cool at the beginning, but gets old quite fast because it feels way too forced.
