Anderson felt a sudden tension in his back as Clarissa posed the question, "Do you think I'm beautiful?" He couldn't deny her striking appearance, but his response was cautious. "Yes," he admitted uneasily. As Clarissa drew closer, she leaned into his ear, her voice low and intimate, asking, "If I wanted to spend the night with you, would you consent?" Anderson narrowed his eyes, his gaze holding a hint of depth, and replied, "There's always a price for such an arrangement. Are you certain?"
Clarissa chuckled, seemingly unaffected by his comment. "Money? I have it. They'll regret underestimating me. I'll find someone even better, just to prove them wrong!" With that, she wrapped her arms around his neck and planted a passionate kiss on his lips. The night turned intense.
The next morning, however, a surprise awaited her – a marriage application, signed by her own hand. Shockingly, her past came back to haunt her when, during a delivery at a hotel, she discovered her fiancé – or so she thought – and her half-sister entwined in an intimate moment. This revelation shattered her six-year relationship, as her father blamed her lack of allure, deeming her sister more deserving.
With her heartbroken from the failed engagement, fate led her to a chance encounter with the perfect man – or so it seemed. To her astonishment, this man bore an uncanny resemblance to the billionaire CEO, Anderson Jordan, seen on television.
Anderson, known for his charm, thoughtfulness, and loyalty, was something she never imagined would cross her path. Little did she know, her nightmare family was about to resurface, threatening to pull her back into their dark past once again.
