"Please, spare my soul... I'm a widow," she whispered through tear-filled eyes, her voice trembling as the demonic figure loomed above her. He pressed the knife gently against her chin, a chilling smirk etched on his face. "I didn't kill your husband before your eyes to let you go," he said, his gaze lingering on the tear tracks streaking down her cheeks. The sight of the knife wiping away her fear only intensified her anxiety, for she knew he was capable of such callous actions without remorse. Closing her eyes tightly, she braced herself for the anticipated pain. Instead, she felt the blade withdraw, and warm liquid touched her lips. Her eyes fluttered open to find blood from his palm trickling onto her lips, its metallic taste overwhelming her senses. She gasped in shock, her heart heavy as she witnessed his soul quiver with a wicked grin. "Let me be... Leave me, Lea..." she choked out, her voice barely audible. But as his hand grabbed her jaw, her words faltered, and her eyes met his dark, fiery gaze, her own red-rimmed with tears. Her body numbed under his touch, as she felt his hand invade her private space, her tears still streaming unchecked. "Why?" the question escaped her, a plea for understanding in the midst of her despair. "Why am I destined to suffer at your hands? Why am I not enough for you?" His answer, cold and ruthless, echoed in the air: "BECAUSE I'M INSANE FOR YOU."
