God's Little Joke

A mentally ill man died and his soul was taken by the god of another world to reincarnate. Given cheat like abilities can he overcome the darkness within as well as his past trauma to actually live his second life? Join him on his journey as he tries to navigate the best and worst humanity has to offer as he tries to make life better at least for those he meets. *Warning* This will mainly be a light-hearted story but my characters will have depth to them so unfortunately there will be a few backstories that won\'t be pleasant.

Author\'s Note: This is my first attempt at writing something since I was in school over 15 years ago. Please keep that in mind as you read. Also, this is a Self Insert, which means, yes I am severely mentally ill. The illness the MC has as well as some of the trauma in his backstory will be based on my own experience. As such please be gentle when commenting or reviewing. Positive feedback is awesome, as is constructive criticism. Harsh language, mean comments, and general douchebaggery are not needed. I will try and update as often as possible but there may be gaps as my depression comes in cycles and makes it hard to do anything.

I have taken the best parts from many stories/games/rulebooks to create my world/abilities/skills/races. As such there would honestly be too many references to site. However, one that I have to site is the LN Levelmaker for its wonderful skill system and skill evolution. I have only used the system itself and not the skills, however.
