Esyr, the First Fae Dragon

(On an indefinite hiatus.)

The most powerful demihuman, the Fae King Eseit, and his wife, the most powerful of the dragonkin, Yrlett, were unlikely to ever produce a child, due to the difference of their races. Or so they believed, proven wrong when Yrlett one day laid a single egg. For years and years, they waited patiently for their egg to hatch, so that they might finally have a family of their own making. Unfortunately, the couple missed the hatching of the egg, and so their newborn child wandered off into the world of humans and demihumans, causing them no small amount of panic. In her anger, Yrlett kicked up a great fuss, sending shockwaves throughout the human empire, shockwaves that brought the old human powers out of the dark. In order to appease the anger of the former human emperors, Yrlett and Eseit agreed to arrange a marriage between their son and the granddaughter of the previous emperor of the human empire.

However, things are not looking entirely peaceful for their world, as the System begins to hint at impending disaster. Elsewhere in the world, demonic forces are on the rise and the unsuspecting forces of the humans and demihumans are unfit to counter their future assaults. In its foresight, the System has acted as much as its limitations allowed. The System chose to empower the human and demihuman forces so that they will not fall under the tides of war, by blessing Esyr, son of Eseit and Yrlett. However, with his inability in mastering his abilities and none that can show him the way, the young future hero will have a tough road ahead, with the fate of human and demihuman society, and even the System\'s existence itself on his shoulders.
