    This is clearly MTL and the so call TL just pops up randomly to make comments. Your one and only brain cell must be used to read mtl to fully comprehend what is going on.
    As for the story itself,
    it's messy, all over the place. Only Chi Qian slightly resembles a proper human being.
    7/10. good for killing time and a decent read

    Author likes to take massive random breaks.
    Like he'll write a few chapters then just disappear again for a while (A couple months)
