A Romance of Villains

Princess Ezveril got dragged in a succession feud between the ruling family members of a collapsing nation. Her loyal knight and advisor, Astrael, died while protecting her from assassins. Hunted down by her own family, she fled the castle and swore to take revenge against those who betrayed her. But she would need help, and to get it, she would commit the most villainous acts. First thing to do was dabbling in forbidden rituals and soul magic to bring back to life her loved knight, her most trustworthy ally. She just needed a receptacle for his soul, since his old body was destroyed. Sacrifices had to be made, for Ezveril only had one option at hand, the sole \"ally\" she took with her before fleeing the castle. Yes, to host the proud soul of Astrael – one of the last known magicians in the world –, what better choice than to use the body of Kiki, her small dog ?
