Modern day novels are basically impossible to understand. Like the moral cover of these characters are nonsensical. I’ll try to explain.At one point the MC just straight up got a bunch of creatures to commit genocide on a bunch countries to spite one guy. All I’m saying is if you’re raised in the modern day by a good family with traditional values there’s no way you would do this. Especially because moral actions impact cultivation.This is because karma is an aspect of this novel. Committing misdeeds brings bad karma and punishment from the heavens. So the MC speaks of doing good deeds and not accruing bad karma unnecessarily but then goes and does this. Even if he can offset the karma to his clone I don’t buy it. His power up relies on teaching cultivation to as many people as possible. He just burned a fortune for no reason.So the MC is just a hypocrite with a nonsensical moral code. The characters are flat and dumb. The world of the novel is also just boring.Skip this one.

Way, WAY too much world building.I don't need to know every details about every creatures, classes, damage formulas and the world as a whole that are taking over 3/4 of each the chapters which are often repeated in multiple chapters.Sorry, i really tried but it is making it unreadable for me.
