You Found Me, Mr. Billionaire

I always focus on how a story makes me curious about what's coming next. If the plot twists are unexpected, then it's a good story.  

Even though it was a brief manga (around 140 pages, I think), it still featured a backstory and several pivotal moments. It drew me in more because it combined witchcraft and Shoujo Ai elements. The artwork was on par with other mangas from the 70s.  
Since the story isn't flawless, the characters' personalities remain somewhat underdeveloped.  

If I were to describe the characters: there's an innocent rich girl, a Yandere witch, the witch's older sister, and an obsessive fiancé.  

In conclusion, while I can't pen a lengthy review, I can say that the manga does its best to create a wonderful Shoujo Ai atmosphere as concisely as possible.

Wow, there's so much more to this tale than just romance! If you're into mysterious, horror, or GL themes, this classic short manga is definitely worth checking out!

First of all, I must say that I'm not a fan of yuri or shoujo ai. This is the first manga in this genre that I've ever read, and I don't regret it at all.  
The main drawback of this manga, unfortunately, was the art. That said, it's understandable given that it was published in 1972.  

To sum up: What I appreciated most about this manga were the emotions—sadness, anger, love, fear. The character I found most compelling is Maya. Her personality resonated with me, and I admired her way of thinking.  
The psychological depth of the manga is well-executed. The characters reflect on life itself, their purpose, happiness, and even death.  
I typically don't condone revenge, but I can empathize with the intense hatred that makes it a driving force for living.  
The manga has a dark atmosphere, which I enjoyed. While the drama might be somewhat exaggerated, I appreciate stories where emotions run high.  

Overall, this manga isn't essential reading, but I found it enjoyable. It serves as a solid example of a psychological tale centered on revenge, sadness, and love.

This manga played a pivotal role in establishing and solidifying early Yuri tropes, yet it offers much more as a concise and fast-paced melodrama beyond its historical significance. Despite its brevity, the manga skillfully employs symbolism and foreshadowing, and uniquely within the Shoujo genre, excels at showing rather than telling when it comes to characterization. While I would have liked this manga to have more space to delve deeper into its characters and their motivations, as well as allow dramatic events to unfold more slowly for greater emotional impact, it remains a must-read for enthusiasts of early Yuri and Shoujo works.</p>

A brief fairytale-like story, the kind you regret has no movie adaptation (I can totally envision this as a Ghibli film). Likely one of the earliest shoujo ai works, and due to its length, the pacing feels a bit off with a lot unfolding in just 140 pages. To be honest, it does seem somewhat confusing initially, given how rapidly events unfold. Nevertheless, the artwork is utterly captivating, infusing the narrative with many fantastical elements and transporting you to another realm. It's remarkable how the manga makes you sense that there are supernatural forces at play when, in reality, nothing out of the ordinary occurs.
