Woah, the review by daydreamge is proven wrong in the third chapter. They take loyal servants with them during exile. I’m not sure if they even read the novel or just skimmed it, so if the summary intrigued you, just read it yourself. So far, it seems to match the description—will update later.

Edit: By chapter 50, it’s still following the summary. However, there’s constant face-slapping which might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

So it begins with a joke where the main character (MC) empties the treasury of their own home and gets exiled, but they are well-stocked with supplies.

Honestly, many of the MC's family decisions don't align with my feelings. For instance, I think it's a waste of time to be so lenient. They have full control over the group, yet they refrain from eliminating the constant troublemaker, who survives until the very end.

The forced ending feels drastically different from the family's earlier attitudes. At first, they cared about their surroundings, but when the opportunity to escape arises, they abruptly leave without any concern for their servants. It's as if the "chance" to flee arrives, and they decide to go without a second thought about the others. It seems so cold-hearted. Why the sudden change only at the end? This makes it feel like a forced conclusion.
