Yin & Yang Pleasures of Cultivation

I read this cause of the first review and I am glad I did. its as the review states, the title is misleading but in a good way. this is not smut [atleast 20 chps in theres none ].

Though considering all thats here and the content in the bk, I am guessing , the author kinda meant it in a literal term, meaning man and female? like the actual relationship between a man and women and how their relationship is used in the cultivation, [ cause reading the chps, especially the one with the wings shit thats what I got.]

the 2 MC's seem to match each other and go stronger. the main MC is the male, and female is secondary. If you hate 2 MC's dont worry cause I too hate that shit but here, its actually done well. plus the male MC is the main main MC.

And whilst it might have the usual clichés [ nothing wrong ] of a cultivation novel, this is different from em all cause the MC and his lover dont separate, rather go on the journey together. And this is really a first, its fresh.

The MC is intelligent and yet also face smacking so thats good. And they are planners, that hide strength and wait for right moment, not some battle retards. Plus the relationship isnt rushed but build slowly. not some..' OH..so handsome , must be different from everyone '..or ' OH, you save me..have my children ' . none of that shit.

rather the characters knew each other and its build up as the story goes. Its build well and isnt cringe nor too exaggerated. Its sweet  but not annoying and isnt rushed. if you like romance, this is way better than most cultivation novels. its properly focused and is more realistic. [ as opposed others in this genre ]

however, I was kinda confused by what happened in the starting, the research facility shit, I thought they transported from a modern cultivation world to a past cultivation world? or they were transported away from the facility? I am confused by that.


all in all I like it cause its way different from almost all cultivation stories out there [ as of C20 ]. its dope GL author

I have to review this. Whatever i thought about this novel before reading it turned out to be a hoax. I thought this is a lame chinese ero novel and i was gonna skip it. I read review and thought to give it a try. I overestimated the story and in the end i ended up underestimating it. DO NOT GO BY NAME AND COVER OF THE NOVEL. Till the latest chapter i.e. 73 there is so solid r-18 scene,harem or any dual cultivation.

This novel has a solid world setting which is disclosed bit by bit. Writing quality is also pretty good along with stable updates. The two main characters are interesting with decent personalities though such persona are commonly found in many novels. Some might not like the duo to be OP but i like OP protags so no problem there. They are OP due to their bloodline(plot armor duhhh) and for all the power ups and fast cultivation there's a proper reason. Even though they are OP they face immense problems when fighting truly powerful enemies, almost losing life. Plot armor isnt heavy so even that is good. Other characters are also decently fleshed out but again they are commonly found in many novels so idk how others will feel about it.

I will tell the story in short here. MC and FML are part of an organisation as lab rats. They do diff types of experiments on all those that were caught by organisation.MC and FML have better conditions than rest coz they are special. One day one such experiment goes wrong and the duo are teleported along with some doctor/scientists. Now the duo are teleported in same area(forest) where they are taken as servants. They cleverly make their way out of it(killing some people) and make their way to city while increasing their power/cultivation. They get themselves admitted to an academy, do some face slapping, adventure in ancient labyrinth and other such events have happened till now.
Though sounds common to all novels out there but i found the story pretty interesting and engaging, the way it is written. It is worth a shot instead of wasting other bs novels on this website or any other popcorn novel.( Everything is my personal opinion so it is not necessary that everyone will like it. Still give it a try and read few chapters)
I hope author keeps writing with same momentum.....

Don't know what to say but still the title and tags didn't match the storyline so if any reader wants to read it because of this than its better to not bother on this story

Can’t read this. Every character so far has such an annoying, snarky way of speech. They’re all radiating nauseating amounts sacarsm and I cringe at every conversation. I don’t really get how someone can enjoy this but we all have different tastes I guess.

I rarely drop novels this early but I just got fed up and tired of the MC.  He doesn't make sense.  Many of his decisions or interactions make little logical sense as if the author didn't flush out or think things through.  The descriptions of the scenes and the world around the characters was mediocre at best.  I'm out and don't care if things improve later on.  Not when they lost me so early on.

Erm, I'm not gonna lie this felt like almost every single one of the reincarnation stories out there. However, the main character seems interesting, but again I lost hope in this book as soon as the girl entered. I honestly hope this doesn't turn into a flop. Another thing, what does the cover have to do with the story itself? The cover makes me not want to read at all since it will make me assume this is a female lead story. Besides these complaints, this is a good story and I hope you the best of luck author.

The story is well written and well paced with occasional extremely evocative imagery. Despite the cover and what the title implies, there is no R-18 content so far as I've read.
