Old Zhou told Chen Fang that there was a nice girl he wanted to introduce to him and asked if he wanted to meet her. Chen Fang chuckled, half-smoking a cigarette, and nodded at Old Zhou. “Of course, if you’re introducing her, I have to meet her.”

He was curious to see just how “nice” the girl Old Zhou was talking about really was.

The name sounded familiar, and in his distant memory, there was a girl with the same name, who was quite fair-skinned.

When they met, she seemed vaguely familiar, and indeed, the girl was really fair.

On their wedding night, Chen Fang looked at the person lying under the red wedding quilt and thought to himself, Wow, she’s really white.

He bit her ear and whispered, “How are you so white, hmm? I remember you don’t really like drinking milk.”

The girl blushed, her whole body turning as red as a boiled shrimp. She buried her head under the quilt, too shy to say a word.

Chen Fang’s deep, amused laugh was both joyful and wild.

Teasing the girl like this was just so fun.

One minute later, the cheerful and wild man stopped laughing, still not quite believing what had just happened.

The girl, still blushing, gently touched his thick black eyebrows and earnestly comforted him, “It’s okay, it’s probably just because I’m too white.”

Three months after the wedding, Chen Fang, panicked, knocked on Old Zhou’s door in the middle of the night, his tone frantic. “Old Zhou, which eye of yours saw that the girl was ‘nice’?”

On the surface, she looked like a milky white rabbit, but inside, she was a little demon. He was bound to be devoured by her, with not a single hair left.

When asked who Old Zhou was, he was Chen Fang’s high school teacher, who once chased him around half the county.

And, oh, Old Zhou was also the “nice” girl’s teacher.

How can anyone rate this book full of horrodeous grammar 5 stars, seriously? Story is good though, but reading is pain in ass unless edited.

What is Huxia?Author or translator, if You write a story in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French; kindly use English, Spanish, Portuguese and/or French names. Using Chinese names is unpleasant, confusing, difficult to read and remember; for example: Lian Shung Tiaxang went to ask for some apples, she told him that Leam Shang Taoxeng only has peaches.

the author sucks at describing the fights... it's even at the level where it's frustrating to read...in addition there are too many useless descriptions which already make the fight not so well described more difficult to read, and besides the author stops redefining the description of the technique as well as the weapons each time one of your characters makes a attack, and above all we already know that water represses fire, no need to give such a detailed and boring description in each paragraph...for me it's the worst novel I've seen in terms of combat description! just too frustrating!

love the story, but find the translation inconsistent, not to mention some chapters being posted in the wrong order and it not being fixed, ever.

If you are going to only Skim this Review, then I'll tell you it is a ok story quality-wise, but it is a very fun story. Even though this is a story based around a mmorpg, the author did not think too deeply how mmorpgs work as a game and just used game elements to create story *******. Like how losing a level upon character death is used to create stakes and consequences for the players about to do a risky plays which is compounded as higher levels become very grind heavy. You can see how this would make fights more tense when the odds are against the heroes and death in a game substantial but not fatal. However, when viewed as a game, this mechanic is incredible harsh and not player friendly with how easy it is to die in this game. When you die, you lose the level, the stats that came with it, any skills that unlock on those levels and all proficiency with said skills, and maybe an equipment piece you had now free for anyone to take. These are very powerful reason to not die for a story character, but as a random player, this death penalty will kill alot of player interest. Now if you can ignore all of the game stuff as a possible game and just take those at face value, then you can focus on the best parts. The characters. Alot of main characters are quirky and memorable which leads to alot of fun interactions and situations. I could talk about them in more depth like with the game problems but that will ruin the fun.TL;DR: Story about a bad mmorpg with funny and enjoyable main characters.

Second review, because why not? I've read pass 100 chapters already. First, the influence of the novel is immense for me may it be for better or for worse. I like it despite its discrepancies, so the review might not be helpful for the other readers. As I said in my last post, I'm a friend of the author and I'm a little bit biased about wanting him to succeed in his writing career. (I'm writing the review for other readers to know the charm, because Coffee has all my input already.)Writing Quality: 4 StarsHe said it himself in the aux chapter, what he uploads are the first drafts and would only even edit the free chapters. I find his words skewed, but I understood when he said he'd probably edit his premium chapters as well when he's done with the four-month guaranteed payment. Straight four months, one chapter daily is tough for his laziness, so I'm cutting him the slack. So far, I enjoyed the chapters he sends each and every day. I haven't gotten used of the recurring monologues, but they're all compensated by the low-key talking-and-walking signature happening between characters (the scenes are mostly refreshing to read), and what I like best are the surreal mind reading shenanigans. I've never read a book before that's so out of the norm. Of course, it has to be done somewhere before, but the way they're being executed are cleaner than the action scenes. I like the vigor.Stability of Updates: 2 StarsEasy five stars if the updates are linear, but volume three being simulpublished is a mess. Especially when Volume 2 gets a chapter in a week when Volume 3 has six. Please, take it the other way around. I understand that Volume 3 is another story, but if I'm a regular reader, I won't open the next book unless I've finished what's before it.Story Development: 3 StarsTbh, the structure is also a mess. But because the author was so insistent it's a "literary metafiction

There's really no common sense with this MC. He actually wastes his limited resources on people who almost killed him. It was mentioned in the novel that if he did not see the reaction of one girl, as she was surprised that he was attacked he'd literally be killed.. Then he uses his limited healing potions to actually heal their best fighter? Great logic and thinking here. The girl he actually saves wants to kill him and kill herself because he saw her naked. Its totally extreme. If she has obligation to kill herself because of tradition of her race, she can go ahead and do it, but killing someone who saved her life? Why does he have any obligation to teach people that tried to kill him? They should be grateful if he just left without killing them or punishing them in any way. After that he summons some legendary pet that literally extorts him yet it is his pet.. If you have a pet in any game, you can decide if you want to feed him or give him anything, in some games they can run away if you don't treat them well but requiring rare resources every time they get summoned would never be normal occurrence.
