Emily returns to her eerie hometown, Coldwater, to unravel the mystery behind her father's death. She enlists the help of Joaquin, an old friend, and together they explore her father's strange notes. Their investigation uncovers unsettling connections between her father's research and the town's dark secrets. They once realised the clock was ticking backwards when they were stranded in an abandoned cabin in the woods. Shortly after, a random guy appeared to offer help, or is he? As they dig deeper, they realize her father's death was part of a larger, sinister plot involving the town's history and a hidden threat. The deeper they go, the more they question reality, wondering if they're being manipulated by forces they can't yet understand.
