Review as of chapter 75. The “sisters” are only sisters in the Chinese sense. As in, it’s a polite way to refer to someone of the same generation as you, much like they call older people aunt and uncle despite the lack of a relation between them. To risk a small spoiler, they aren’t even from the same clan, let alone blood relatives. The main character is *irredeemably* stupid. Like, I’m amazed he can even continue breathing unaided because he is obviously braindead. He continues charging headfirst into conflict after conflict without even making anything even approaching a plan. He’s a cultivator, but so far he’s only cultivated once, and even that attempt would have failed if not for Great Wall-thickness plot armor. Seriously, his plot armor could easily repel an entire invading army of intellectually superior foes. The worldbuilding and story development are bog standard for the urban face-slapping genre. It’s a constant parade of arrogant young master after arrogant young master, and so forth. If you’ve read one urban novel, you’ve read them all. This is neither a plus nor a minus, but is instead both at once. If you like this kind of novel, you’ll like this novel. If you don’t, you probably won’t. One thing I will say, though, is that the character designs *really* drag this novel down in the story department. Especially in the story development aspect, since it’s so far just been the braindead MC hopping from one fire to another fire all to rescue a series of repeat damsels in distress from increasingly unbelievable situations that I’m fairly sure only exist for the author to fulfill his own wishes in story form. I haven’t caught up to anywhere near current releases, so I don’t know if the updates are stable or not. Translation quality, though, has so far been very, very high. With webnovel switching so many novels from 100% human translation to edited MTL lately, though, I have no idea if that’ll continue to be the case later on down the line.
Well so far I'm a chapter 15 I couldn't read anymore the story feels like it came out of someone with either amnesia or has Alzheimer and I mean literally it's like a novelty for me this author is in a category of his own which I have just discovered let me explain: the lack of details which you will see a lot lacking literally, the inconsistencies, the explanations that come chapters after where they are supposed to be I think this is where the Alzheimer part comes in, the stupidity more than normal, the lack of explanation in every part of the MC'S life, and the concept of the story is however the author likes it to be for example if you want to write some s*** beside a reasonable paragraph he does it with no explanation probably because that's how his brain works I don't know how people keep reading this s*** maybe for passing time or whatever but for me my brain can't take it each time I think the author will change I stand disappointed whoever is enjoying the story is either never read a good story or their brain work the same as the author these are the only two reasonable explanations I can find to anyone who says otherwise you're either one or the other of these categories or a new category I don't know (try imagining somebody having to choose between you and a degenerate to give their powers to and what he does is giving super powers to the degenerate instead of you now tell me how the f*** you'll feel that is exactly how I'm feeling when I made this review) the concept has potential however the author screws it up and this is a special one as I said he's in a league of his own first time seeing this kind of screw up I mean I seen others but this is in a league of its own my advice don't read it this is just an advice go with your own risk 😑😑😑
I liked the historical power system and how the MC plays his advantage of a transmigrated historian/archeologist from the origial Earth. The characters are likable and honestly the whole mystery looming on the cult and doomsday arc is exciting.However due to the poor translation, it became really annoying to read this one. At first i overlooked it hoping that it just a temporary thing, but later on it got worst and it became taxing to keep up with the story. Just the gender of the pronouns were left as female for all character and the unmarked dialog makes youe veins pop.

This book, all in all seems stupidly similar to another novel by the name "Monster Pet Evolution". The initial start is the same, mc can't tame monster then poof can tame monsters, mc tries to learn how to cultivate monsters then does that and gets the money necessary to cultivate his own. This book on the other hand tries to make it easier to keep writing by simplifying the process required to 'evolve' a beast, therefore reducing events required to gain materials, while also trying make him seem more powerful, somehow?Reason for 'rating':The flow of the text is sometimes incomprehensible, or just doesn't work.Story is just a clear cut copy.Character design is shoddy at best, but then also somewhat of a copy.Don't care about updating since I won't read past the first 20 chaps.World background has a bit more content that is it's own, but most of it is still a copy.If this book isn't a copy or hasn't taken inspiration from MPE, then the author is just inept at researching, writing, and/or creativity. Contrarily, I highly would recommend anyone that sees this review to check out Monster Pet Evolution. It's finished and has a decently written story all around. The ending will throw you for a loop for a bit but it isn't the worst.TL;DR This books seems like a rip of another decent monster taming novel of the name Monster Pet Evolution, but it doesn't have nearly the same quality, imo.
Why has this series been stopped. The plot is great the story is amazing. Will there be no more updates to this one now? I need moree this story seems as good as solo leveling to me so please countinue
