THE MANGA AND THE REVIEW IT'S WRITTEN ABOUT ARE FOR ADULTS ONLY. READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. SERIOUSLY, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OFFENSE CAUSED.

"A Sex Therapist" is pure smut.

No one disputes this fact, not even the author. There's no overarching narrative that ties the characters together beyond the storyline involving Kain, the enigmatic so-called sex therapist who ends up bedding nearly every narrator in the series. This story remains undeveloped, and perhaps that's for the best. Kain's charm lies in his ability to assume the identity of anyone he desires, and giving him a distinct identity of his own might undermine his appeal.

The artwork during the sex scenes is extremely graphic, and while the love stories surrounding the characters can be touching at times, let's face it: if you're reading this with full awareness of what it entails, you're not reading it for the romance. It's akin to watching a porn scene solely to find out what happens to the pizza delivery guy when he's out on a long route. The storyline holds little significance in the grand scheme of things.

That being said, it's quite good as pornography, perfectly tailored for the average individual. If you enjoy reading erotic fan fiction, you'll likely find "A Sex Therapist" manageable.

As I've mentioned earlier, the art is graphic enough to classify it as porn. Genitalia is uncensored. Appropriate points of entry (ahem) are also uncensored. It's ideal for the novice yaoi enthusiast who seeks gratification but struggles due to the lack of explicit content in easily accessible manga. However, once you delve deeper into yaoi, it becomes somewhat easier to find what you're looking for.

My conclusion? If you don't enjoy yaoi, porn, or any form of smut, it's not worth your time. If you prefer your smut to have a plot, it's not worth your time. But if you appreciate the occasional PWP (Plot, What Plot?) yaoi adventure... I would highly recommend this title.

Although the chapters share similarities, this story is far from a typical 'school boy romance' yaoi. It boasts a solid foundation and features enjoyable, sweet, and diverse characters. If you're looking for a casual read filled (and I mean filled) with graphic intimate scenes, this is definitely the one for you.

Art: 10. The manga's layout and style are exceptional.

It comprises short stories, allowing you to encounter and explore the interactions of numerous characters. Overall, it's an excellent tale.
