Su Ying stayed up late reading a novel, just about to start ranting—when suddenly, she dropped dead. The next thing she knew, she had transmigrated into a novel set in the impoverished 1970s, complete with a cheating fiancé.

Without hesitation, she broke off the engagement, only to catch the eye of her tall, broad-shouldered, cunning military neighbor, Lu Dongsheng.

Lu Dongsheng thought—he was cold, ruthless, just a lowly soldier with no money or power. Marrying him would only bring Su Ying hardship.
Su Ying, on the other hand, thought—men in the village were poor, lazy, and unreliable, while Lu Dongsheng was handsome and financially stable. If she found a stable job, life would surely get better.

What she didn’t expect was that the man who, in the novel, was supposed to be too busy to come home every night… now returned home daily for “overtime.”

She wanted to cry, but the man wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered hoarsely,
“Just bear with it a little longer, sweetheart.”

One year after marriage, rubbing her sore waist, she felt something was off.
Two years later, looking at the child in her arms, she was even more confused.

She just wanted to ask:
What happened to the promise of being rich, carefree, and never coming home?

the book is very good! the author takes care to study each subject he touches, creating explanations that leave you perplexed. Many times I find myself re-reading the paragraph to better understand what was explained to me. The book has no loose ends and the main character is not extremely strong, but he is very intelligent. It is a mix of science, physics and chemistry with the world of cultivators. The author's previous book was phenomenal, the legion is grateful and I recommend it to everyone to read, he managed to interact with the reader the entire time.
