Avira transmigrates to Hollywood and inherits a struggling film company. Soon she discovers that the studio is notorious in the industry as the “King of Knockoffs.” Its business model is simple. It rides the popularity of hit movies and produces shameless imitation films with slightly altered titles, earning enormous profits from the attention they generate.

Examples include parody-like productions such as Hammer God Thor and other films that imitate famous blockbusters.

In her previous life, however, Avira was a Grand Slam–winning director with exceptional talent for creating original films. Determined to change the company’s reputation, she decides to abandon knockoff productions and start making genuine original movies.

But every time she tries to develop an original project, a mysterious system intervenes.

“Host, please do not deviate from the studio’s predetermined route. Continue producing knockoff films.”

The system then assigns her mandatory tasks.

Create a knockoff of Iron Man titled Tin Man.
Create a knockoff of Fifty Shades of Grey titled Fifty-One Shades of Grey.

Unable to refuse if she wants to survive in this world, Avira reluctantly completes the assignments.

Unexpectedly, her unique talent transforms these imitation projects. Through bold reinterpretations and radical creative changes, she turns them into entirely new works.

Hollywood soon notices a strangely unconventional genius director.

Her film Fifty-One Shades of Grey shocks audiences with its wildly unhinged style and intense blood-soaked slasher elements, redefining what people expect from a “borderline” exploitation film and dominating the box office.

Her Tin Man also surprises audiences by centering the story on the villain, creating a dark and psychedelic atmosphere so striking that viewers nearly forget the original Iron Man.

Critics are stunned. What begins as cheap knockoff entertainment repeatedly becomes something far greater than expected.

Investors even realize that her films carry almost no legal risk. Aside from imitating titles and posters, the stories themselves are completely original.

Before long, all of Hollywood reaches the same conclusion.

People begin begging her to stop making knockoff films and produce a proper blockbuster.

Yet no one understands why a director with such extraordinary talent stubbornly continues to focus on imitation movies.

Time magazine eventually gives her an ironic title: the first knockoff-film director destined to be remembered in history.

Meanwhile, Avira can only suffer in silence because the system will not allow her to do otherwise.
