Y/n's family were attacked by a demon on the same day she was given birth. Her brothers and sisters were all slaughtered by the demon along with her parents. No matter how much they screamed or cried for help there were no one to help them as they lived deep into the woods in a small mountain. Kagaya Ubuyashiki who was passing by the mountain heard the cries of the family and hurried towards the direction of the voices. As he arrived, he realized he was too late, bloods were spilled everywhere and no one seemed to have survive. Until he heard a cry from inside the house, he noticed a small baby being embraced by someone who seemed to be her mother, he picked the baby off the mother's warm embrace. "Poor child. From now on...you'll be called Y/n" Ubuyashiki took Y/n in and took care of her like his own.
