    Reviewing till chapter 54
    Overall score: A high 8 (8.64)

    Notable pickings:
    Puns: 8
    Hilarious misunderstandings: 10
    Ecchi: 8
    Good guys: 8
    Wrestling features: 7
Ability to draw relation of normal stuff into ecchi stuff: 10
    Comedy: 9

    Atmosphere/Mood: Light

    Story: 8
The story begins with a dutch wife living with a man who resists her every attempt at ecchi activities, but as new characters and events emerge, the narrative becomes rich with comedy. Wrestling moves make occasional appearances, and wrestling notes are highlighted in several chapters after volume (?).

This story can be described as a "living with dutch wives" plot, so expect plenty of ecchi, slice-of-life moments with quirky elements. From chapter 4x (vol.6), an America-Japan rivalry parody involving dutch wives starts, adding even more humor to the series!

However, certain aspects feel lacking, such as Dr. Akiba, who appears and disappears every few chapters, always losing the Yuria Type dutch wives he creates. This is somewhat peculiar.

    Art: 6
The art is relatively weak compared to its stellar comedy grades. There were many panels where I couldn’t fully grasp what was happening, and at critical moments, it wasn’t clear if “the deed was done.” Facial expressions often lacked detail, making emotions unclear without additional context.

Oh, and there are noticeable similarities in the art style for quite a few characters, especially in the faces of female characters.

    Character: 9
There are quite a few likable male characters in this series, which is refreshing. Their reactions to the dutch wives’ actions vary significantly, adding interest.

Personality-wise, I don’t dislike any of the main characters, but some behave strangely. For example, Maria, who keeps receiving information that her boyfriend might be cheating, seems unusually tolerant, despite her personality not seeming like it would allow for that.

From volume 6 onward, Lucy’s introduction sparks a Japan-America rivalry that adds further spice, highlighting cultural gaps regarding ecchi content (though some of Lucy’s actions seem overly liberal, even for the USA).

The characters remain consistent in their personalities throughout the series, and character development is present for some, though it isn’t a prominent feature.

    Enjoyment: 10
Puns. Hilarious misunderstandings. The ability to transform non-ecchi topics into very ecchi ones. Exaggerated expressions. Some action comedy (like Shunsuke’s wrestling). Some risqué jokes (involving Yuria and Lucy).

I’m absolutely amazed by the brilliance of the comedy in this series. "The mangaka is a genius!"

Yuria 100 Shiki is a riotously funny manga that falls into the Mature, Ecchi, Romantic Comedy genre, featuring an absurd Sci-fi narrative. It revolves around a professor who creates a humanoid love doll named Yuria. Somehow, she escapes and ends up in the care of a university student, Kubo Shunsuke. The story unfolds chapter by chapter, each with its own mini-story and perverted theme. While there are some nice developments, it's clear that the repetitive storyline isn't the strongest aspect.

Despite the limited number of characters, they are highly entertaining. Yuria, the love doll, is incredibly lustful, making the perverted situations both frequent and hilariously over-the-top. Shunsuke, on the receiving end of her advances, is remarkably persistent in resisting, leaving many readers to wonder why he doesn't succumb. Other characters make convenient appearances when necessary.

The artwork in this manga is quite impressive, with detailed character designs, especially during the ecchi scenes. The panels are well-arranged, and the environments are nicely drawn when included. However, there are moments where the side views of characters appear a bit odd.

Overall, Yuria 100 Shiki is as ecchi as manga gets, bordering on pornographic, yet it remains extremely funny. Fans of My Balls can expect a similar ecchi experience here. When reading this manga, be prepared to abandon any notions of logic and sensibility, as they won't be needed.

*Be warned, there is a significant amount of sexual content.*

This manga is absolutely ridiculous, and I think its strongest point is the comedy. While there are plenty of ecchi comedy manga out there, this one ranks among the best I've ever read. The humor and situations in this series are genuinely funny and manage to keep you engaged. Honestly, it's rare for me to laugh out loud while reading comedy manga, but this one did the trick. As for the story, there isn't much in terms of a traditional plot based on the synopsis, and that's exactly what you're going to get. However, there is some progression in the characters' relationships that feels just about right.

The characters in this manga are surprisingly well-developed for an ecchi comedy. Shunsuke, our protagonist, is as normal as they come and doesn't possess any of those annoying traits that often make main characters unlikable in similar manga these days. Plus, he's good at wrestling! I really enjoy the dynamic between him and Yuria. He clearly cares deeply for her but struggles to approach her due to certain reasons you'll discover by reading. Yuria truly shines as the star of the show. She goes all out every day trying to get Shunsuke to reciprocate her affections. After all, she is a love doll. Their hilarious antics are what I enjoyed most about the series. Alongside them, other love dolls and their partners also find themselves in absurd situations, all of which are entertaining to follow.

One important thing to note is that each scenario the characters find themselves in caters to specific fetishes (mostly ecchi-related) that are commonly recognized within the anime community. Some of these might not appeal to everyone, as there were a few chapters that didn't resonate with me personally. Nevertheless, there's likely to be a situation that aligns with your preferences. The variety is refreshing and over-the-top in the best way possible, and the jokes hit the mark perfectly!

That said, like many older manga, the ending does feel somewhat rushed. There's almost no sense of closure. The final chapters resemble the middle of an arc more than a proper conclusion. The author made an effort, though. As someone who is highly critical of poor endings, I've encountered worse manga conclusions that left me extremely frustrated. Fortunately, the rest of the manga compensates for this, but some readers might still find it lacking.

I'm not the best person to comment on art since I rarely choose manga based on its visuals. That being said, the artwork here is decent but not exceptional. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this manga! It truly deserves more recognition. Yuria is undoubtedly the best love doll.

Hopefully, this review encourages you to give it a try!
