Abigail, a bipolar disorder patient, wrote a crazy BL novel with herself as the main villain. She vented all her negative emotions, killing characters through the villain she created. Alas, she died of a pill overdose before writing the ending. When she opened her eyes, she was surrounded by the characters she created in the novel! Ordinary people would be frightened to death, but Abigail, a mental patient of an extreme case, rubbed her hands and decided to torture them all at once! How exciting! Except for one, the evil CEO she had her character marry in her novel. He was her eye candy, despite how rudely he treated her. Her everyday schedule (if she wasn't torturing someone) included: Getting up, seducing her husband in the shower, seducing her husband while eating, seducing her husband while working, seducing her husband everywhere from their home to work, seducing her husband to sleep, and somehow, even seducing him in his dreams! It went on like that until he couldn't hold it anymore. *** Asher said frustratedly, "Why didn't the author mention me in the synopsis?! Am I not eligible to be with Abigail?!" Owen added calmly, "You're not alone, my friend. I even entered the scene after 60 chapters." *** Updates will be regular from October this year! 2 Chapters a day!

Its an interesting story but why make the fl 15 and the ml 20. I get that its supposed to be "historically accurate" but atleast make the age gap socially acceptable. i really don't care that she reincarnated, it still feels wrong yknow?

Oh, it seems that no-one is reading or recommending this story. A shame.I’ve read up to chapter 585, so I feel like I can give this story some sort of review from what I’ve read so far. Some potential spoilers, of course, though I’ll try to keep it vague where I can.The novel sort of starts itself as a mystery novel with some horror in it. It’s kind of like the beginning of the author’s other work, Way of the Devil, except that story starts off as more horror with some mystery. In some ways, this story reminds me a lot of Bloodborne (with the author’s own twist to it) with the whole traveling to different areas/worlds through a dream world-hub. And there’s a deity-made “plague” which turns people into beasts (known in this story as the Blacktide which turns people into berzerk puppets or monsters). And this time, when you die, you wake up and there’s like a bit of a penalty where you have to recover the fatigue lost before entering the dream again to explore. Very Souls-like. Kind of interesting to read in story form.In other ways, it reminds me of Solo Leveling, as MC (Lin Sheng) kills tough enemies in the dream and then can absorb them and turn them into his compatriots/minions who he can summon in the real world. It’s especially interesting as he tries to figure out how to kill those way stronger than him so he can have very powerful summons to back him up.The world-building has a similar dichotomy to Solo Leveling, where its MC goes into solo dungeons unique to him, gets powerful minions, and then uses them in the real world to gain a footing in the real world’s power system, except this story’s MC can’t summon in the dream, so the dreams are still a solo-only experience, and stay a mystery that the MC is trying to solve bit by bit.He “fakes-it-till-he-makes-it” in the real world by creating his own organizations and masquerading them as hidden, powerful forces (with his summons as members) which he uses as coverup for his actions in the real world and to gain some authority in it.Bit by bit, MC explores different worlds and learns different types of powers. He stays pretty much desperate for strength as new threats emerge or get stronger and he scrambles to try and catch up to protect his family. At the beginning, he’s kind of feral, doing whatever he can to survive and increase his knowledge of the world, killing people here and there to absorb their souls and gain their knowledge, not really knowing what to do, where to go, or how to progress, and making plenty of mistakes along the way. But eventually, he reaches a comfortable power level where he can finally act a bit more like a “big boss” character and make his organization a supreme powerhouse. He’ll realize more about himself and his desires and then streamline his power and attains a true boss status for himself.Interestingly enough, unlike the author’s other stories, this MC is more inclined to focus on protecting his family. His whole power set is built around protecting others and gaining power from the support of his followers. It sort of reminds me of Yhwach from Bleach, where Yhwach gives power to others and in return can harness it to power himself up once they’ve mastered and built upon it, except Lin Sheng is not cold-blooded to his underlings like Yhwach is.Though, to be honest, the MC does use “holy power” and becomes the “Holy Emperor” of his “Holy Sanctum”, and he can control the fates of those who use and build upon his power at any time, so there are some definite parallels between him and Yhwach’s holiness power theme, especially when MC gains some very limited version of Yhwach’s series-signature ability to see into the future and take advantage of that in combat. So yeah, maybe there’s an argument to be made that he has Yhwach powers.Anyways, there is quite some growth from MC, where he starts off not knowing anything and crawling his way through everything, to getting a sense of direction and actively expanding his empire to combat the looming disaster that will destroy his world and his family if he doesn’t do anything about it.Very much an MC who’s motivated to protect his family (even if he does most of the heavy exploring himself while letting his organization do more of the management stuff and smaller, more tedious explorations). Quite different from the author’s others MCs who are emotional loners who most of the time have the world as their enemies, even the organizations they join being untrustworthy. But this MC is far from a goody-two-shoes, as he has been meddling into the affairs of other worlds (that his other MC compatriots are already well known for) and his actions are far from the actions of a “nice guy”, even if they aren’t particularly villainous in nature. If you generally enjoy the author’s style of writing but want something that feels a little bit different from their other works (maybe it won’t seem like it right away, but it will eventually), then this is an interesting story to pick up.
