I'm typing this review for the sake of people who are wondering what's the hype about only to find the start is arguably worse to read than MTL. At the moment, I'm typing this having read up to chapter 179. Yes, the presentation gets better. Around chapter 80, or 130-ish officially. Personally, you have to be in a mindset to read it for dumb fun and have the litrpg kick as there are a few twists early on but nothing impressive so far. There are elements of OPness as well such as the MC getting much higher stats for his level, getting good equipment, etc.It could change as I get deeper into the story since it does focus on some side characters like the vice guildmaster, the pioneer, etc. The story takes more of a POV from being the overlord of a city from a kingdom-building standpoint and unlike with RSSG, they actually acknowledge the achievements. Instead of spitting on the guild like they are trash, they simply acknowledge they aren't a true super guild but also an anomaly amongst first-rate guild.Overall, I will revisit this once either I stop reading or finish the book.0 0 Reply

Of the various VRMMO stories I've read, this is... one of them. Not the worst one by far, at least. It doesn't drag on for thousands of chapters, only occasionally retcons minor details like NPC levels, doesn't have a million forgotten plot threads or just (obviously) make up new arcs without any thought. My main problems are with the romance parts and the occasional insanely cheesy poems, but otherwise there are no nitpicks that I don't have and ignore for every other VRMMO series.0 0 Reply

Basically the generic cultivation novel with a huge weird harem. But mc is taking his time and just enjoying his life so far, no useless tension or drama in the family, or a new degenerate young master to slap every chapter. It says OP in tags, but it's more of a gradual op and an organizational kind of op, not just like author said, a lone wolf op, which is kinda okay, has it's pros and cons.**: written after reading chp 21.0 0 Reply

translation quality took a nosedive after chapter 210. the story is very good. Although the MC is a bit too much of a simp at times, I'm enjoying this read quite a lot. mostly due to there being dungeons and game elements.0 0 Reply

When I got to the top of the stares and looked at the door to my room down the hall I saw a shadow moving under the door and it was like everything stopped.0 0 Reply

Not long after, a nymph joins us. Dressed in green with flowers all over, she takes a fainted Aretha from the back of a centaur that carried her all the way.0 0 Reply
