In Gehenna, a world where spirits and humans coexist, warriors known as Spectrals wield supernatural powers by bonding with ancient spirits through advanced technology called Spectral Interfaces. However, an ancient and rare power known as Memory Crafting—tapping into the memories of the dead to gain their skills—exists in the shadows.
Kiehra Ashbluff, a powerless janitor in the Phantom Sentry, has lived in obscurity, haunted by her past in the brutal ghetto of Abyss. Everything changes when she bonds with an ancient and twisted spirit known as "No. 33". Their bond leaves Kiehra with unimaginable power capable of literally reshaping the world around her. Unfortunately, she is dangerously inexperienced in controlling it. She must now navigate the treacherous politics of the Phantom Sentry while concealing her overpowered abilities.
As Kiehra rises in rank, she uncovers whispers of Memory Crafting, a lost art feared and revered. She encounters a rogue Memory Crafter who can access the memories and skills of dead warriors, making him a formidable swordsman. Though Kiehra distrusts his eerie abilities, a looming catastrophe forces them into an uneasy alliance. Together, they must uncover an ancient conspiracy threatening both the spirit realm and Gehenna itself.
In a world on the brink of collapse, Kiehra must learn to master her overwhelming strength and embrace her destiny—but can she do that without letting herself be swallowed up by her own power?

The story in the first few chapters was amazing. A traumatized character, a war against powerful aliens, strange powers and a promise of revenge. But after he meets Liiza the focus of the story completely changes. Hundreds of chapters describing the love relationship between Khan and Liiza, made me so bored. I can't read a story that ignores everything else and focuses on the romance between a human and an alien. It's sad, the action and adventure promised in the first chapters was completely in the background. The author should change the name of the story to "MY GIRLFRIEND IS AN ALIEN" It will make more sense to new readers. In short, the story is amazing, the author writes very well, but he focused on the romance. Someone like it, but I just got bored.0 0 Reply

This novel is definitely interesting, I would love to see where it goes from here. This novel does have some glaring flaws though. The pace is very fast, it feels like the author has good ideas on what to do but in many places he forgot to write them, which makes the reader feel like they missed something and have to reread a bit to try to understand. The characters aren’t very well developed after a point. The Mc jumps from one thing to another and decides very randomly on what needs to be done. The Mc is said to be incredibly smart, but it goes back and forth between him being obsessive with something that would minority benefit him and him being intelligent and understanding. For example the whole art bit; Seth gets incredibly obsessed with it though it does help him in a few ways, there are many things that he could’ve done better instead. He takes no care for his physical body despite knowing that his brain is simply too amazing for his body and for him to do anything better he has to get his body to be more up to par. Then there is the months that Seth spent on obsessively working on becoming a false chief of a fake town he made of sculptures. He has next to no real reason to do that and nearly dies to do it. meanwhile he gets better at next to nothing for that entire time. And when he does get a chance to practically have his choice of any occupation as a class, instead of choosing something that would be helpful to him in both the short and long run, he chose to be a noble which even till the end barely had any real effect or helped him. The characters are not well fleshed out and aren’t very understandable in many to most situations. The world building is very interesting and I would want to see where it goes. But as mentioned earlier, it feels like the author has some good ideas but he doesn’t always write down what is going on or explain why a character would do something. The writing quality isn’t great either. There are many typos and it definitely feels like the further you read the less this novel has been proofread to clear up the writing. It feels like the author was just trying to get as much done as possible in a time limit without worrying about what was being written. All in all, it’s an interesting story. Despite my several misgivings about it I would still like to see more about it and read where the author takes this.0 0 Reply
