This manga came across as somewhat disorganized to me. Both in terms of character development and overall structure, it seems like the mangaka might not have had a clear direction and perhaps hastily put together the story without much consideration for coherence.
The mangaka hints at issues with one of the characters but fails to properly introduce what these problems are. We're thrown into the middle of the narrative without context or explanation, making it easy to get confused and lose track of the storyline.
Even the conflicts and challenges that arise don't seem significant enough to justify the characters' reactions. At times, it feels like everyone is overreacting, which detracts from the impact of the story.
There's supposed to be a love triangle involving Kanoh, Midori, and Hanabusa, but we're not given any background or setup for this dynamic. Just like other elements, we're abruptly introduced to their conflict without any prior warning or backstory. It's hard to root for anyone when we don't know them well. This is a prime example of poor storytelling.
If more thought and planning had been invested in this manga, it could have been quite good. As it stands, it's merely a way to pass forty to sixty minutes of your time.
