Zhu Tong was born in a wealthy family, but the pampered young master suffered from a serious cleanliness addiction, and there were so many things that even God can’t stand it, so he was given a sickness and even coughed three mouthfuls of blood.

The day before his death, he was inexplicably bound to a system.

The system told him that he was actually a cannon fodder villain in a danmei novel who humiliated the heartthrob protagonist and suffered the consequences. If he wanted to survive, he had to find the only one in the novel, the white moonlight, who was not attracted to the protagonist and get full favorability from him.

In order to find him, Zhu Tong changed schools.

The new school was located in a remote small county with eight-person dormitories, a canteen for big pot meals, and only one public toilet in a teaching building.

Zhu Tong: In order to survive, I will endure!

Shao Ming is the Study God of No.1 Middle School, a down-and-out young master who was abandoned by his family. He hates the pampered rich second generation the most.

As a result, Zhu Tong became his deskmate.

On the first day they met, Zhu Tong looked at him with dislike painted on his face.

Shao Ming snorted coldly in his heart: Heh, another young master who can’t take care of himself.

Later, because of his unintentional remark, Zhu Tong went to the cafeteria to eat. He was sent to the hospital for stomach bleeding that night.

Shao Ming: …

The delicate and fleshy young master Zhu was picked up by Shao Ming and brought home.

In order to complete his task, Zhu Tong washed his hands and made soup for the first time in his life. He planned to make breakfast for Shao Ming, but he got up late.

In the kitchen, Shao Ming was wearing a pair of casual shorts and was frying eggs in front of the stove. His good figure could be seen at a glance. Zhu Tong pushed the door in and was stunned for two seconds. Two streams of nosebleeds came out from under his nose.

Shao Ming: …

Zhu Tong wiped it away: “If I said that the nosebleed is due to my illness, will you believe me?”

Shao Ming approached him step by step, and pressed him against the door frame: “I don’t believe your words.”

Black-bellied, narcissistic, shameless, Study God gong x weak and calm young master shou.

I absolutely adore the relationship between our main character (MC) and the male lead (ML). It’s heartwarming to see how comfortable MC feels around ML, and ML is doting, super caring, responsible, and protective. They are just so cute together!!!

The development of their relationship is fantastic, and MC’s grandpa is amazing too!!!

I’m leaving a mark here to finish reading later. Despite his weak body at the start, MC is headstrong and has his own ideals and methods of fighting. ML gradually falls in love with our adorable MC, who is very straightforward. They fit each other perfectly, especially as they support each other when one needs it. There is a side couple, but their story will mostly be told in side stories.

I came here right after reading the MTL version of the novel. First off, this is a really good story. Everything is well-written, from the beginning through the middle as the plot builds up, and all the way to the end with the revelation of the truth about the MC's system. The humor is great, and the romance between Zhu Tong and Shao Ming is just— they're so sweet, it felt like I was going to get diabetes 😂😂

    , it's a fantastic novel. Definitely worthy of a 5-star rating! ☺️

A breath of fresh air, both the MC and ML are full of character. Especially the ML; I was actually surprised by his character setup, but it made me feel happy and refreshed. It’s really nice 💜

This novel isn’t grand or expansive. It doesn’t have a mind-bending plot or deep emotional turmoil, but I still love it. There were times when problems arose, and I’m glad they were able to fix them all. Tongtong was even honest with Shao Ming about everything, including the system. I also love that Tongtong turned out to be the real main character. I’ve read about this kind of scenario before, but I didn’t expect it to happen here. I also didn’t expect that Shao Ming and Xia Yang were step-siblings.

There’s really something about high school danmei stories. They always catch my attention, especially the ones with systems. I won’t ever get tired of this kind of plot. Maybe it’s just me sulking over the fact that I still haven’t experienced high school love, lol.

Edit: I was weirded out by the side couple for the first few parts of their chapters. I actually think it’s good that they distanced themselves from each other for a while before finally getting together once they were both ready. Poor guy, he definitely didn’t deserve to be accused of sleeping for a position. The translator was right when they said the people were crazy for blaming the minor instead of the adult.

Oh, I'm definitely enjoying this one. Although I won't go through the trouble of MTLing. XD

Leaving a review just for bookmarking purposes. 5/5 if you just want to pass the time; it’s perfect for not using your brain cells at all.

No matter what anyone says, to me, Shao Ming comes across as very intimidating. He subtly manipulates Zhu Dong through verbal tricks to get what he wants. While it’s not always obvious, the frequency of these instances makes me feel uneasy while reading. It’s a compelling story, and I can vouch for its quality. However, if you’re as sensitive to manipulation as I am, reading this might feel like wading through molasses. It’s sweet and insightful, but it can be quite sticky.

It's a good thing I gave it a chance. I read a review here after scrolling that made me lower my expectations for this, but thanks to that, it was as immersive as it could be because the story is good! It was surely an easy read, and what I really like about it is that the system is almost non-existent but was also part of the core of the story.

The gradual development of both the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML) is so natural, although some might feel uncomfortable with how Shao Ming takes advantage of our Tongtong. But setting aside real-life principles, I can totally understand Zhu Tong's dependence on Shao Ming. I do feel that Xia Weiyi's presence in the book is a bit overshadowed. He didn’t have enough screen time in what could have been his significant role in the novel. That part was a bit underwhelming for me.

SHAO MING'S REAL IDENTITY, THOUGH! THAT WAS SUCH A SURPRISING TWIST! Totally didn't see that coming.

The pacing is rather tedious. When the plot is in motion, the story is quite engaging. However, there's an excessive amount of slice-of-life content in between. Chapter after chapter of the characters shyly dancing around each other and flirting, while significant plot developments are wrapped up in just one chapter. It has taken me 23 days to get through 83 chapters because I keep losing interest. I might just give up at this point.
