Shameless author review!New author, tried writing for the first time and this is my first novel. If you're into epic fantasy with a strong focus on characters and mystery, check it out! It follows Kai and Lia, two friends whose lives are about to change as they uncover secrets tied to their hidden pasts. The story starts with a slower build, letting you explore the world, but once things heat up, it’s a journey filled with magic, intrigue, and ancient legacies. Dive in and let me know your thoughts—your support means a lot! 📖✨

Loving the story and so far I'm caught up. Story is well-paced, interesting and addicting. One of those you almost regret finishing in 2 days. only character design and world background are still somewhat unclear, though I assume you learn more as it goes on.

I like reading this. But just for consistency purposes, the Byzantines as we call them today, did not refer to themselves as Byzantines. The Byzantine Empire is actually the Easter Roman Empire, and thus, they refer to themselves as Romans. It was a bit painful to read as these Byxantine characters were referring calling the Romans, where in fact they are really the continuation of the Romans and they continued to refer themselves as Romans. I think even the Ottoman Turks refer to them as Romans. Only the West do not call them as Romans, but they called them Greeks or the Empire of the Greeks at that time. They did this because there was an entity back then known as the Holy Roman Empire which based mostly in Germany. The West treated this as the successor of the Roman Empire rather than accepting the Eastern Roman Empire or ,Byzantine Empire as we call them now, as the successors of the Romans. I think it would be just good to incorporate this but I guess it would be hard. You can do a bit more research so you can confirm that what I said was right. Unless that this is as translation?
